location, having restuarant on premises
Our bed was not comfortable
Staff was great and helpful great location shuttle service was very good
Breakfast was not included having to pay for parking
The hotel staff were very helpful. We had the two person studio which was very comfortable. The shuttle van was very convenient, and the drivers, courteous and helpful.
Nothing to report.
Had to pay for parking
Fantastic location. Well appointed - VERY comfortable. Ideal for a quiet get-away with the convenience of a city centre location.
There was nothing not to like.
Very nice room, great location near the Parliament buildings, shuttle service downtown. The decor throughout is very vintage but in excellent shape. I would stay here again.
Nice hotel friendly staff great central location
Decor and layout rather tired. Needs modernisation. Beds not great
Room was very comfortable and was very reasonably priced
I thought the cleaning staff could have vaccumed more often
Good value...close to everything
great staff, great location. Parking could have been free.
Excellent Location Spacious room, almost too large Kind of retro as in returning to the 50's, 60's. Pleasant helpful staff
Restaurant in the hotel
we were met by very friendly staff who gave us advice on sights to see and how to use the public transport. Room was spacious and very clean with tea making facilities and nice cookies. Breakfast was served by a very helpful lady..Menu to suit every body . Hotel had a nice rest room , games room and a laundry room. we had a really wonderful stay. Hotels location was brilliant. Thank you to all the staff.
That I had to leave it !!!!!
I like the old feel of this hotel
Where else can you stay IN a city center and have a peaceful night sleep? Add the quaint European comfort and you've got a winner.
Top drawer overall
A wee bit dated in décor
Upgraded to one bedroom suite on arrival by staff Room was large Kitchen came in handy Staff was friendly Walkable distance To restaurants and activities
There was nothing we didn't like about the hotel
location! Jonathan's, kitchen, size of room
parking fee of 15$ per night, bed too soft
The location is impossible to beat. Within walking distance to the inner harbor, museums and shopping. Nice, helpful staff.
The property is a bit dated. I'm guessing the building was constructed in the 60's or 70's, and our room was sorely in need of updating. More importantly, when reserving through Booking.com, I was surprised and annoyed to learn that reserving a room with a king bed does not guarantee you a king bed; it is simply logged as a 'request.' When we arrived, they put us in a queen room, and we had to go back down to the desk and ask to be moved. The staff were able to accommodate the request, but had we been stuck with a queen, it would have been a substantial inconvenience. Also, the way the rate is quoted is confusing as we were charged a premium for our last night there which was not apparent on the Booking.com confirmation.
Everything about this hotel demonstrated quality - the room was beautiful and comfortable and the staff gave excellent service. Being an older person, I found that having the shuttle service to help get around the immediate vicinity was a great benefit.
There was nothing about this hotel that I didn't like.
you are too good we couldn't return again on the dates we wanted because you were full.
Location, very quiet, late check out
No a/c during the hottest summer on record. There was a silver fish bug in our bathroom...
We cancelled a reservation at another hotel due to its un-cleanliness reviews and chose the Royal Scott as an alternative. A very good decision. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Rooms very nice and clean. A short walk from the Clipper Ferry terminal.
We had a studio with two beds, a double and large queen. The TV was in another room with the double bed. We like having the TV on when going to bed. This arrangement did not work.
Location is great.Away from the noise of the waterfront but so close to enjoy everything within a short walk. Love the comfort and spce of the separate bedroom apartments. All the amentities in a solid comfortable environment.
Parking seems a bit pricey particularly if you have an extended stay.
