Room attendants were good. The location was very handy to downtown area and shopping. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

My suite location was overlooking an ugly rooftop with a very poor view.

The room was split in two sections by a small wall, which helped give some privacy to people on both sides! It was really helpful to have a kitchenette in our room, and location was unbeatable!

It was great, really. If I had to choose something, I'd say it would be great to have included breakfasts!

I like all of it..............it is my favourite place to stay.........

The suite we had was superb. The shuttle bus pickup and drop off wonderfully, the reception staff simply the best I have come across and I have seen many. Kelly in the restaurant at breakfast was very friendly. Food was only average however but overall I would certainly return. DR Stephen BARR

The suite was a little stuffy and too warm.

liked the suites location to the harbor..liked the kitchen and it's ammenities.. the staff were friendly and very helpful.. had breakfast at Jonathans.. very good food

the refrigerator was making a clunking sound the whole time..day and night..we made the staff aware

I only liked it's convenient location.

I was asked for a crib upon booking, called one week prior to arrival to remind them on that, and they still forgot about it. I called three times the front desk and they never brought the crib, so the baby slept in bed with us. Following day their staff never showed for room service and end up call several times the front desk to get some shampoo and conditioner.

Location: very convenient to several attractions, restaurants, churches, shopping, and kitchen supplies. With the excellent shuttle service to take you to and from the hotel, and the many activities included in the hotel, and the included day outing to Duncan, we were able to do and see much more than if we had had to take transit or taxis. Very handicapped friendly. Gardens and blossom trees were absolutely wonderful. We have tentatively booked to return next year! I have never witnessed a hotel that responded to every one of our small requests as promptly as did The Royal Scot staff. Nice too, to mix with a Senior's Tours group, who permitted us to join in some of their activities

The wet weather, and having to leave Victoria and go home, when our time was up!

Location Staff Cleanliness

My husband and I got an upgrade to our room --- which was a kitchen -- we were staying for a few days so it worked out great and we appreciated the upgrade. We enjoyed the pool facilities and the restaurant which we used a few times during our stay. Easy to get around --- liked the layout of the facility --- lots of character and everything easy to use --- also appreciated all the items in the gift shop --- staff was great -- very friendly. I can't think of anything we didn't like --- the stay was very enjoyable and went too fast !

Our room was just the right size for the 2 of us and the price was great! The entire hotel and amenities (pool, hot tub, etc) was very clean and comfortable. the staff was always friendly, accommodating, and ready to help in any way.

They do not offer a continental breakfast. The positives however, more than compensate for this.

Friendly, helpful staff. Convenience to downtown and safe and secure.

The appliances in the suites kitchens could be updated as could the carpets throughout. I feel the parking fee should be inclusive of the hotel price, the additional $15.00 charge was not quoted in the hotel rate and a bit of a surprise.

Rooms are large. Very clean. It is an older hotel that they have maintained well. It caters to snowbirds, and you can rent by the month. But it also serves as a regular hotel for nightly stays. Rooms are great for having people over. Rooms have kitchenettes. Everyone is very friendly. Location is PERFECT for visitors to Victoria, one block from the harbor, 1/2 block from Parliament buildings.

Their service repair / maintenance person can be slow to respond to requests for maintenance - but the management hounds him, and he eventually gets there...

We loved everything! It was easy to find, great location, clean, very friendly, had everything that one would need - even to a newspaper under the door in the morning! We can't wait to go again. I have already recommended it highly to a few people.
