some of the appliances were broken, no dressers to put clothes, the telephone battery was dead...couldnt control the heat we had to turn it off it was too hot...
A wonderful change from the normal hotel experience. More room than with a traditional hotel, a much better option is to have your own home away from home.
There were something's that need repair. But over all it was not a deterrent. The extra 50$ cleaning fee feels a bit over the top, if the experience is to be compared to a hotel the fee should be incorporated into the listing price or removed, it leaves people with the feeling of being charged too much.
Location and the prompt way staff dealt with issues
There were far too many issues: Dishwasher leaked, wash machine/tumble dryer was broken, shower head was broken and needed replacement, noisy outside as well as inside, the card key stopped working for some unknown reason and took several days to re-activate when I eventually was so annoyed at not being able to access the gym and spoke to security. Overall - this place was not worth the money - also the swimming pool was actually a hot tub!
No place to hold my luggage after checkout
Nice building, pool, rooftop area. Suite was pleasant. Internet was fast and problem-free. Free phone calls in North America. Nice washer and dryer. A lot cheaper than most hotels in the area. 2 blocks to CN tower, an easy walk to Eaton Centre.
Fridge did not work. Called to have it looked at and they said they fixed it but there was no change. Freezer very cold and frost coming out around the door but fridge was room temperature. Beds were uncomfortable, especially the futon in the living room. Be sure to inquire if you rent room 1627.
The condos are in a great location, you can walk to many coffee shops, places to eat and bars and clubs. Cn tower is literally a 5 min walk. The condo was fully furnished with everything you could ask for and with free parking aswell!
That I had to leave:(
Serviceable apartment, five minutes walk from the Metro convention center.
The apartment needed a bit more TLC. There were some non-working lights and a broken blind and the password for the wifi in the documentation wasn't right.
We were there for ballgames so the location was great- only a 5 minute walk. The shopping for my daughter at the Eaton centre was about a 40 min walk but gave us a chance to look around. There was lots to see close by like the aquarium and Wayne Gretzky's restaurant . We had a good time!
The pullout sofa bed was terrible. Neither of my adult children would sleep on it. The mattress was way too thin. The garbage shute was right full of someone else 's garbage/cans so we could not dispose of ours. The hot tub wasn't hot - just warm.
Convenient to conference centre
Shower curtain was dirty
Lack of privacy no bedroom door! Sofa bed lounge was grubby futon in cupboard which was hard to find when looking for sofa! Bed, not easy to get hold of staff promises never materialised wasted valuable time emailing
Location Cleanliness Free parking
Location, location, location and very clean. Also very accommodating with securing our luggage prior to and after check in and check out.
Booked this for a group of four. Only 2 sets if keys were available. Futon was incredibly uncomfortable and as the couch was listed as a sleeping option I assumed it would be a pullout couch/bed, It was not.
This was our first time renting an apartment we normally use hotels. We will definitely use this form of accommodation in the future it was excellent. The location was right in the entertainment district across from the CN tower. We bought a weekly transport ticket and explored everywhere with it.The apartment block itself is lovely there is a sauna and huge jacuzzi pool on the top floor. We were a little disappointed we didn't realise it was there until the last day we would have used this daily to ease the sore feet! An information sheet was emailed to us by the letting agency but this information wasn't supplied. The apartment was spacious and was big enough for us 3 adults. It would suit a family of 2 adults and 2 children too.The décor was a little dark but everything you could need for a home away from home. Washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, oven etc. We would certainly use this apartment again and would certainly recommend it to other travellers.
The staff (owners) of the place were friendly, organized , and professional ..I highly recommend this accommodation to families and friends.. The locations are excellent ...
Location was fantastic. Near the Rogers Center and the waterfront. Took advantage of pool, fitness center and pool room. Building seemed quite secure.
Could have used a bathmat and face cloths to go along with provided towels. Shower curtain rod and liner needs to be replaced. Layout of room was not quite as advertised. Bedroom was small. Dishwasher odor was unpleasant. Dried blood on couch and comforter.
No staff greetings,no toilet paper
Many attractions are in a walking distance. Apartment was big and well equipped.
Only fault was the couch bed in living room. You simply could not sleep at that 'torture-rack'. Had to put mattress in the floor end sleep that way.
We loved the convenient location and that parking was included. It was also nice to have laundry facilities and a kitchen.
The mattress to the pullout couch was very thin and lumpy and the sheets for the couch were too small (twin size for a double mattress). The comforter for the pullout was also stained and dirty. We had to call to get replacement sheets/comforter as well as a new key fob to enter the building (battery was dead in one we were given). The towel bar also fell out of the wall in the bathroom.
Location was great for being right downtown.
Outside bar music kept us awake until 3 a.m. Then garbage truck woke us up at 6:30 am. Not a good place to stay if you want to sleep.
Location to lots of the cities great attractions. Everything I could possibly need for my stay was right there down to the silverware and extra linens. Underground parking helped me feel safe in a new city.
I wish I would have been made aware of where the pool and gym were even though time might not have allowed. These luxuries I found out about after my stay.
everything in the appartment was goos except the extra sofa bed
the extra sofa bed was not good and comfortable
the apartment was excellent
there was nothing to dislike
Location and kitchen was excellent.
Cleanliness was not great and the "check-in" was not simple. The people at the front desk were not that helpful and sorting out how to get into the parkade was challenging. Beds were not great. I had to sleep on the floor, but was expecting a pull-out couch. The owners did compensate me for this with a discount. Also it would be helpful to have coffee filters available-not great to have to go out and buy these for three days of coffee.
Location, free parking, spacious apartment with a complete kitchen, fair price.
