I like that the room is spacious, modern, and luminous. Excellent location, where everything is nearby.
I didn't like that I couldn't stay longer!
Good location close to the CN tower, comfortable room.
The apartment wasn't as clean as it could have been and there were a couple of things that needed maintenance.
The location was great and the building had some great amenities.
The condo is poorly set up. The cleaning service needs to be upgraded. The cupboards, tv screen, patio door etc were filthy with greasy fingerprints everywhere. The mattress was horrible. The couch was ripped. The stove was dirty. The kitchen wares provided were basic. We made due because we were only there for three days but I definately wouldn't go back.
Loved it all. Loction right across the street or down the street from everything! Price for the weekend was the same as a day at other major hotel that were nowhere near as close with parking. Hope I can get it again if I got back next year.
The general feel of the apartment (especially being from the country) fitted nicely with the city break, modern decor and came with the all the expected outside sounds! Also great location, right next to CN tower, rogers centre and short walk to lakeside.
We expected to arrive at a building labelled royal stays. But turns out that's just the company that owns/rents the apartments and it's just a general apartment block where people live. So when we asked a taxi driver to take us there he'd never heard of it and had to drop us off at mariner terrace, to find our own way. This was understandable on his behalf, but this really should be made clear in the instructions and maybe even have something in the entrance to say they have 'royal stays apartments' as we wondered round like idiots! Thankfully the Canadians are lovely and we found someone very helpful! Also had a slight issue with the fact they took money for the apartment before we even arrived there. This is in their terms and conditions (discovered after I complained) so partly my fault, but again this should be made so much clearer, was lucky I had money in my account! One last slight grumble is that you're expected to call a help line for instructions on the appliances (dishwasher, washer/dryer etc) is it really too much to ask for a booklet with these instructions?! Despite these issues, we generally had a great stay and if we ever went back, we'd know what to expect next time!
Location was excellent .and been so close to the tower was a great marker.
the condo only had a couple of cups and one with a chip out of it. the crockery situtation was very poor and there was dust on most surfaces. the rooms felt like they needed a refit. It also lacked a book telling you of services and attractions local to the address.
Lot's of space - separate living and dining areas, bonus small office space and parking included. Not really central - but yet not out of the way (near the CN Tower & Rogers Centre).
Dishwasher not secured properly, open the door and the dishwasher want to fall forward. Not really clean, mold in bath tub & lot's of dust. Not a big deal, but a mix mash of different dishes and glasses.
Prior cleaning of room was almost Non-existant, I had to vacuum the floor before I could unpack, the view from the 11th floor I assume would be great howe with glass that appeared to have been cleaned months before with dirty water was a disappointment.
Really nice apartment, good location in town
- decent contemporary place - generally most of the staff were helpful on reception - not exactly a luxury stay but does the job for the money, nice cosy apartment but the studio I stayed in was quite small and the flimsy sliding bedroom door could do with a replacement - the owner was contactable immediately and responded to resolve the check in issue - no major complaints overall, the parking space is a bonus and the facilities in the apartment were generally good
- the cleaner did not do a very good job of preparing the apartment as there was dust still remaining on the bathroom shelves - some miscommunication between owners and representative staff members at reception about keys to apartment - the security staff person who was at the reception wasn't very empathetic and tried to disassociate himself from the arrangement despite being on the reception desk - location is more suitable for business travellers and those wishing to see downtown etc
Cleaning of the room to be better
Very good location. Good communication with staff. They are fairly accessible even at night. Grateful for that. I like this style of hotel.
Great location, very convenient Beautiful suite
Communication with owners was wonderful - I got timely answers to all my questions over email and phone. Location is excellent. The place was clean and comfortable.
Location, modern room, fully equipped kitchen, good internet Nice gym next door
they could provide some more things (like extra rolls of toilet paper, extra dishwasher tablets, 2nd key)
Very nice apartment in excellent location.
Nothing not to like.
Very inviting place to live in with full stocked kitchen with fully stocked and new-like appliances for daily use. What sold us was the washer and dryer present in the unit. Very clean and tidy unit, right in the entertainment district. A mere walk away from Rogers Centre, CN tower and the newly opened Ripley's Aquarium. Close proximity to the public subway and restaurants.
In house washing machine and dryer very handy. Location handy for walking to some major attractions
Gas stove not igniting properly frequently. Many lightbulbs blown. Broken blinds and window openers. Staff not particularly helpful or friendly. Underground parking was a nightmare, no signed information led to us attempting to enter the wrong apartment in the wrong building!
Great amount of space for much less than the nearby hotels. I had lots of room and could prepare meals, do laundry, etc.
Drainage problem in the bathtub and bathroom sink.
The apartment is very neat. Its a real home.Everything you will desire in a home is made available from the complimentary toiletries to kitchen utensils. Its big and spacious.Well decorated. Will always stay here whenever I visit Toronto .I love the club house especially the spa and indoor pool.I just hope will mentain this standard .
The one bedroom was advertised for three persons but the bed is very small though a small matress was kept in the wardrobe which wasn't comfortable for my 15yr old son.Subway is about 10mins work.I ended up calling a taxi all the time when I want to get to the entertainment district. No staff on ground to show you things in ur apartment, only the front desk security, that there official duty is to hand over keys to you.
