Hotel Royal Versailles

The hotel was outside of Montreal but the Metro was right outside the door and very convenient. There was always plenty of parking and they even let us keep our car there after check out so we could go downtown.Breakfast was okay always plenty and the staff very accommodating. The staff at the front desk was always very helpful in telling us where and how to go places. We were very satisfied and would definitely stay there again.

The Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. It was very clean. The Versailles Mall and the metro/subway station is just across the street. I like that there is a lot of security cameras on the outside of the facility.

I think that it could of had a little bit more options for Breakfast like scrambled eggs or/and pancakes. They had bread, pastries, boiled eggs, coffee, tea...

staff very pleasant

The price was reasonable, the hotel rooms were clean!! The metro is right beside the hotel, as wall as the mall. There are lots of restaurants near by. The staff was friendly and accommodating. A good place to go if you are looking for a well priced, clean and comfortable room during your stay in Montreal.

Any hotel that costs over $100 should have more features. This is like staying at a comparable Days Inn. One person on duty all day and night. Big hotel so it's too much to handle for one. I think the owner is trying to save money. Which one can see in the breakfast. Cheap w/no taste. The only real reason to reccommend this hotel is because it is so close to the awsome Montreal subway.

Bland and over priced

I demanded an adapter. They did't have. I said that they should offer that. An old man said: If you don't want to stay, you leave.

clean, friendly staff, easy access to subway, across from mall and supermarket in case something was needed.

Not the best continental breakfast based on previous stays at other hotels

Stayed during Grand Prix. The bilingual staff was the most courteous I have encountered in a long time. The hotel was right next to a Metro stop which was extremely convenient. Parking was free. All areas (room, lobby, etc) were as neat as a pin. I would heartily recommend this hotel.

Next to the metro station for easy access to downtown.

Behind the hotel is a power grid facility making some continuous low noice.

The rooms were big, the internet was free. and it has a great location near highways, restaurants and shopping.

Stained carpets, small bathroom, the continental breakfast wasn't very good and they kept running out of food. The lack of soundproofing was a problem and staff response to noise complaint. Don't stay on the 1st floor.

It served my purpose.

Hotel Staff was very curtious and helpful and took the time to ensure that the group we were travelling with were all located in the same area. We are planning on recommending that our club use this next year for the whole team. Not alot of staff was on Saturday night, but they did indicate that if we had a team stay there and wanted to eat in the restaurant they would make sure they were staffed accordingly. Breakfast was served starting at 7 AM. I had mentioned that we would be gone by then due to sporting commiments and they made sure Breakfast was set up early at 6:30. Great service. Enjoyable stay!

proximity to HWY

cleanliness leaved to be desired (hallways, staircases); however, the room and bathroom were clean; access to room (2nd fl, east wing) was long, past open service/supply rooms, not very inviting or hospitable atmosphere in my opinion.
