This is our 2nd time staying at hrv. Very near the Radisson Metro (train) station and a few stops away from downtown Montreal. Just stay in the green line, no need to change train. Very friendly staff and a great place to stay overall. We wish that breakfast would have been included in the price.

It was not too far from the Institut de Cardiologie where my elderly mother needed an intervention. I liked the free parking, the free breakfast (even if the breakfast room opened at 6.30 A.M.it was too late for me) and the subway nearby, just in case... Everything was fine

Hotel Royal Versailles is ideally situated for the type of activities we had planned. Located off highway 25, this allowed us to reach one of our destinations in Montreal's north end in just over 15 minutes. The next day we met with family in the downtown core and used the metro system which is located just seconds from the doors of the hotel. Its location.

Was upgraded to a bigger suite as the suite booked was not available. Nice big room. New TV. Iron board and iron in room. Free parking was great! Bathroom was a little tight, but as by myself not an issue. On the ground floor and the window faced the parking lot, so I didn't want to open the drapes as parked cars were right outside. Bedspread had stains on it and was a little tired.

That it was that close to the institut de cardiologie in Montreal. That it's very convenient to park and to go to the shopping mall if you need something Well the room could have been cleaner there were like pieces of the ceiling falling on the floor.

The Staff (at the front desk) were very helpful as far as room placement and giving directions to resturants and metro info. I thought the rooms (we had 2) were clean, although it is an older hotel, so baseboards didn't appear eazy to clean, what with paint over paint, ect. The housekeeping were very polite and did a good job cleaning the rooms. I was disappointed that they couldn't accommodate my need to sit upright to sleep, with extra pillows, especially since at the time of booking this was requested. Luckily I was able to use pillows from our second room.

I liked the fact that there was a nearby metro station. Otherwise it is very poor value. Dirty and very noisy and expensive for what you received. Staff unfriendly.

This hotel despite its distant location from the heart of Montreal, is fantastic! We were driving and we don't want to deal with the crazy and expensive parking in the city. Train station is right next to the hotel and you don't have to switch train! Staff and service are fantastic as well! Wish the break was included though although it's not that expensive anyway. We got upgraded to king suite!

The metro station is in front of the hotel. I could not believe this Hotel is 8.3 pointed. The terrible smell from the carpet. The washbasin was blocked, we had to change the room, cause there is no one able to fix it. I do not recommend this Hotel, even the price is good.

The hotel was very comfortable and most convenient for public transport, the local metro station was almost adjacent to the hotel. We found this the best way to travel and see Montreal.I would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel and location. Parking at the hotel was also very good. The staff were most helpful in assisting us locate the location of the car hire company we were using as we had a problem with our car and had to go into the centre of town to exchange it, which was a nightmare and made us doubly appreciate the ease and convenience of the metro and public transport system. The journey took 45mins stressful driving, only 20 mins comfortable travel by metro. There are plentiful places to eat within walking distance.

The best point for this hotel : it is very closed to the subway and in 15/20 minutes, you are downtown. The east area of Montréal is not so good. By foot, you can't do anything, no interest. My room needed a complet renovation, very old furniture, sanitary etc. And the price is very expensive. So it was for the Grand Prix, but the standard one is too.

The location is very good. There is a metro station across the street. The hotel has parking, and it's free. Free WiFi. If you want a cheap hotel just to sleep and visit Montreal, look no further, that's the one. The room wasn't very clean. The bathroom is very small, but ok. The breakfast is very bad with little choice. The swimming pool is not ready to use. Some vending machines make a lot of noise.

The location. It's one of only 2 or 3 hotels in Montreal that is close enough to downtown that you can take the subway easily (next door, in fact) but far enough away that you don't have to pay extra for parking or go through any hassle other than leaving them your license number. Although the hotel seemd to be well maintained generally, I found a number of small things wrong; the security lock on the door wouldn't work, the plugs in sink and tub worked more or less, one light bulb out, etc. Nothing serious.
