Hotel Royal Versailles  

This is our 2nd time staying at hrv. Very near the Radisson Metro (train) station and a few stops away from downtown Montreal. Just stay in the green line, no need to change train. Very friendly staff and a great place to stay overall.

We wish that breakfast would have been included in the price.

Restaurant and hotel are seperate.If you want breakfast they charge you or ask for a coupon, which is not offered while registrated.

This hotel despite its distant location from the heart of Montreal, is fantastic! We were driving and we don't want to deal with the crazy and expensive parking in the city. Train station is right next to the hotel and you don't have to switch train! Staff and service are fantastic as well! Wish the break was included though although it's not that expensive anyway. We got upgraded to king suite!

Price. That's it.

Unpleasant / rude customer service. Made us change rooms during stay. Restaurant was awful. Only 1waitress fir restaurant, bar, room service etc... No food to be found anywhere at 8 pm. Only reason we didn't leave is we had a loved one in a hospital nearby. Cheap room, that's was the only positive..I Guess you get what you pay for. Shower didn't work. Tub at bottom all caving in (room 129) there you have it! Certainly wouldn't recommend. Perhaps only if u need a cheap room

Nothing, disgusting hotel

we've stayed at the hotel before and we'll stay there again,it's clean, it's close to place versaille one of my favorite malls, close to family,price is very reasonable,and very friendly staff what more can you ask for?Lisa&Gilles

The Staff (at the front desk) were very helpful as far as room placement and giving directions to resturants and metro info. I thought the rooms (we had 2) were clean, although it is an older hotel, so baseboards didn't appear eazy to clean, what with paint over paint, ect. The housekeeping were very polite and did a good job cleaning the rooms.

I was disappointed that they couldn't accommodate my need to sit upright to sleep, with extra pillows, especially since at the time of booking this was requested. Luckily I was able to use pillows from our second room.

the hotel was reasonably priced and there was access to the subway system close by

we liked the fact that we could catch the metro from across the street. The staff was very friendly and suggested a great hotel down the street. Nice and quiet.

Air conditioning not working. it was hot in the room.

excellent front desk service, very good breakfast, perfect situation close to subway station, free parking, everyday shopping close by

Front of desk was quick and friendly.

Needs renovation, as carpets and fixtures were old. Inadequate bedding and lighting, as well as an out of focus television that was unadjustable
