Very clean bathroom, suprised
Cheap and kept it clean
Not much to like. You can't expect much for the cheap price.
The room was advertised as non-smoking but it reeked of cigarettes. It was obvious that the room was frequently booked for smokers because the bathroom sink and tub had numerous cigarette burn marks. The inside of the shower curtain need to be scrubbed on a regular basis. The bacteria formed there was difficult to ignore. Also, the motel needs to have the towels washed with bleach. The stains on the white towels were off-putting. It's a good thing I bring an extra towel - just in case. The wifi reception was working the first night but became problematic the next day and night.
The staff were very helpful and it was very Clean and comfortable would tell friends ad family too go here !!!
Nothing everything was great!
Great value for money. No frills.
The area is a bit rusty, but that's partly because of the city.
Very reasonably priced. We just needed a bed for one night close to the border! As such price was main motivator. Staff clerk was helpful but you have to ring to get hold of him.
No security lock at front door overnight. One room had strong cooking odor. Room locks dated.
Flat Screen TV Nice Bathroom Reliable Fast Wi-Fi Good location. Kitchenette Easy drive to Holiday Beach.
Not enough furniture perhaps due to space taken up by the kitchenette. A comfortable padded chair or recliner would have been nice. No lamps to read in bed.
For only paying 50 bucks, this was the best value for any hotel/motel
Finding the entrance was a bit confusing
They place was right beside a major highway. You needed to hunt to find any staff if you needed them. there are no ice machines. While pop and water is available the the front desk (advertised on the window) the staff is seldom at the desk. The steps going to the second floor are steep, very narrow and you almost need to put you foot on each step sideways in order to negotiate them.
The service and the beds
The convenience to the border bridge was great. It was a our last night in Canada before driving home. Very minimal, but clean.
Would have liked more than one pillow each and a better WiFi connection.
They're trying to renovate the hotel but they took advantage of the Ontario summer games and gouged guess more than double the price for the weekend
It's an old motel very run down there starting to try and renovated but still a lot of work needs to be done
Clean, friendly, basic, wifi, parking, location
Nothing really worth mentioning
Clean room great value
Excellent room rate compared to any other motels on Huron Church street. Room was clean and had only what I needed. I was staying only a while, not paying as if I just bought a condo.
No hotel access from Huron Church road. One must drive a block east and access the parking lot from Daytona street. I stayed 2 nights and the 2nd night my room was rented out again even though I still had the room key. Staff thought I left since I don't leave anything in the room during the day. Staff fixed the problem that evening but it would have been a very big problem if I would have returned much later that night.
price location and very low noise level
access to hotel
The room smelled musty and of a previously smoked in room, although it is non smoking now.
Friendly check in person, allowed pets, fridge, decent location, price.
Pet charge was unexpected, uncomfortable pillows, tv was taped and hard to turn on, no tissues, had to keep ringing and waiting for somebody at the front desk.
Room was exceptionally clean and value for money was GREAT. For a quick overnight I would recommend this place.
furniture rather dated and the AC was louder than I expected it to be
nice over all
I liked the location. It was in the middle of where I needed to go. The room was clean. For the price is was good. I was happy with my stay.
I do not believe the beds were changed everyday. The towels were stained. The small fridge didn't work very well and the smoke detector on the main floor was beeping for two days. I only heard it when I left our room. To get the hotel you had drive around the block to enter not off the main road. It was little dark.
Decent room, reasonable price.
Stairs to 2nd floor are extremely steep with narrow treads.
A very good price for what's available. Free parking, free BBQ, and clean conditions. They also signed us into the room early. Also, it has a convenient location, being close the the Canada- US bridge and sightseeing locations in Windsor. Recommended if looking for a cheap stay.
There was ketchup packets left in the drawers of the nightstand by the previous guests. The mini fridge didn't work.
Owner was friendly. Only positive things about the motel.
