The view from are room was quite nice, it over looked the falls. Our first room, the air would not work so they up graded us to a better room. We were on the 26th floor - on the second day the elevators were not working, had to walk down to the 20th floor to catch the elevators that could reach that floor. The bill that they slipped under my door on the last night contained a 78.00 dollar parking fee - we didn't have a car, we came by train. They made the correction after I brought it to their attention, but that is something that should not happen at a nice hotel. Marriott is re-doing the hotel and they say it should be finished by 2012. Right now, it looks old and tired. I would book somewhere else.

Location location location Paid for valet parking, but never once was the valet either available or seen. Waited for 20 mins. Each time on average. Wouldn't recommend paying the extra for this service if one stayed as parking is very close and valet not available for the money. Never stayed at a hotel before where there was only one valet and a service paid, but not received.

Great view, room was clean and spacious. Hot Tub and Sauna didn't work. Also, no one told us that their was a $20 parking fee. It did'nt matter but it would had been nice to know up front. Also, the front desk (very Friendly) but could have given us an overview of the amendities of the hotel.

The parking was convenient. The hotel was literally across the street from the Scotiabank convention centre which was handy to attend a 3 day event. The Lobby was impressive and it was convenient to have Starbucks right in the lobby. The room was beautifully decorated and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets and towels were very luxurious. The 4 elevators serving all floors were EXTREMELY slow. It reached the point when we just stopped using them and began to use the stairs instead. Some of our team members where on the 18th floor and only used the elevator twice their whole stay!!! The Starbucks was convenient but ALWAYS had an extremely long wait. Once I waited half an hour in line, but couldn't bear to leave the line since I had already invested so much time trying to get my morning coffee. I certainly did not appreciate that I had to pay for a breakfast, when some of our team mates stayed the Radisson & the Comfort Inn and they received a full complementary breakfast. Finally for a full service Hotel, the fact that it did not have free WIFI was really inexcusable. I have stayed at the Rodeway Inn across the street (a glorified motel) and have had both complementary breakfasts AND free WIFI.

The view No atmosphere in the hotel. Looks lools like they are fixing it all the time. The rooms have a nice view but are old. I Was charged extra 173$ for nothing and was told at the front desk that it will be fixed which of course never happened.

The only bright spot is "Kathy" or "Cathy" she realized that we have a problem checking in, she did everything possible to help and took care of us Paying top dollar ( for a luxury suite" arriving at 3:20 pm and find that room is not ready and we have to wait for an hour; finaly Kathy upgraded our suite to the presidential suite: * suite do not have a closet to hang your coat except in the bathroom * no cups for coffee except paper ones* the Kitchen has no plates, fork knives, etc * No stove or microwave; after checking they could have brought us a microwave if we pay for it * Even the Fridge has no ice cubes tray * I bring the maint manager to the room and she did nothing to solve * After paying top adollars close to 300 dollars per night and being upgraded I was expecting greater service ... too bad

The view from the 16th floor the beds are comfortable! I am never one to qwrite negative reviews but for one thing, we got there and the room we booked wouldnt of been ready for 45 mins, so we took a cityview room, which wasn such a big deal because it was raining so the weather was very foggy! Then in the room for about 2 hours and our room must have been double booked because 2 people walked rite into our room! Thank god we were there, if not who knows what could of happened! Then they dont tell us that our key woudlnt work so we came back from a long walk went to the room and had to come back down, to get our key fixed! The elevators take wayyyyy to long and when they do come they r too fill that we had to take the stairs! They charge this "tourism tax" of 3% whcih didnt make sense to me! I said something and it was taken off rite away because they have no rite charging this! Socheck your bill taxes are already @ 13% why shoudl I pay 16%?? and then the washroom smelled very bad of urine! Was very gross and not sure why it smelled but it did!

The view was excellent but the ice machines were broken and the downstairs bar the drink prices are crazy, two rye and coke wtith very little rye was nineteen dollars,,,,, that is ridiculous. the bed was comfortable and the spa tubs are nice but the showers are dated... over all it was pretty good. The renovations and the parking should not be extra

The room was very nice. Wi-FI must be purchased. Many hotels and motels include this. The room rates are high as it is. Pay for shuttle to casino. Cheaper by cab! Swimming pool to small. Lot of kids splash around and only 2 tables and chairs for people. Water bottle in room @ $4.95 each wow" It's the extras that just costs too much to make this hotel too expensive. For a business person, they may not care. Families will!

great location and falls view suite has excellent views. good restaurant. Unfortunately like all the accountant owned hotel chains you are charged extra for breathing (car parking? extra. Internet? extra. Drinking water in your room? extra ..$4.95 plus taxes extra. a good hotel but as with all Marriott's the experience is ruined by the accountant's hand in your pocket all the time of your stay...particularly galling when you see cheaper motels from the reception offering free internet and cheaper day parking in the public car parks down the street.

Our weekend get-away was made very special by the "view" of the beautiful Niagara river and falls...Our room faced east and we were treated to a wonderful sun rise as we prepared to walk across the parking lot to a morning spa ,I had arranged for my wife (of 30 years!!) Upon her return we shared a breakfast at our table ( part of our Jr. Executive suite )and commented " I wonder what the other folks are doing this morning "as we felt blessed to be there and to experience your wonderful hotel and " World-Class View "...Our best ...Marlene and Matt O'Brien , Burlington, Ontario..
