Sutton Place Hotel Toronto  

excellent rooms

I was deeply disappointed in the quality of the Hotel. There was no Minibar,,not even a showercap or soap in the bathroom, the restaurant was closed and food was served very casually in the Bar, I understabd that the ownership of the Hotel changed very recently and the hotel is going to the dogs. I would not put my worst enemy there.

My son and I were going to an Open House at the Univeristy of Toronto and so location was the most important point for us. It is about a 10 minute walk from u of T. which was perfect for us. It is also a small walk to Younge St and all the shops. It is a bit of a longer walk to get to the downtown core ie Eaton Centre but we both love walking so that did not matter. But if someone was looking to shop at the Eaton Centre and did not like to walk so much note that you would have to take a taxi or public transit. All we wanted: location, hot shower, clean linens, pleasant room and the Sutton Place scored on all those. We did not need or even inquire about any other amenities. The room was fine and Staff friendly. I will be staying there again when my son goes to u of T.

Lubatud hommikumantlid puudusid. Internet oli raha eest ja kadus pidevalt ära. Lihtsalt polnud olemas. Hommikusöögi pead ise ostma, aga üks praemuna maksis 3$. Seega, kui soovid veel sinki ja kohvi jne läheb hommik maksma 18$ inimene. Lõppu arvestage, et kui teie tuba maksab booking.com lehel 100 öö, siis maksud (13%+3%linnamaks)ja toa koristamine (6$) ja hommikusöök (2*18$)ja nett (10$) ja parkimine ( 20$) läheb kokku 188$. Maja ümber käivad ka ehitustööd.

This hotel is soon to be demolislhed and it won't be a minute too soon. The staff is rude, the hotel old and grotty with parking elevators that don't work. I would sleep in my car rather than stay in this hotel again.

The staff came into the room a couple of times without knocking

كل شي كان رائع لكن الذي ازعجني انهم يسمحون بدخول الحيوانات وقد رأيت الكثير من الكلاب مع النزلاء في الهوتيل

The delay in the booking I made through Booking. Com meant it had not been received by the hotel when I checked in or even after I checked out. This meant there was delay in my checkout and a substantial difference in charges between what thyey tried to charge me and the rate I had booked at booking.com. The staff had trouble with arithmetic and I was late getting to my meeting. So the prpoblem wa smostly Booking. Com and to a lesser extent the Ontario education system's inability to teach math proving to e a problem for the young hotel staff.
