Everything. The food was excellent, very nice staff and a superb gym. Halifax was so friendly.

Breakfast included! And a respectable selection of food too. I appreciate the recycling containers provided, the free wifi service, the use of the gym facilities and the location.

The bathrooms looked like they had been well used which is to be expected in a dorm. Bring flip-flops to shower in.

It was a two double bedroom apartment with its living-kitchen. It is pretty good for the price. It was clean and quiet, and the breakfast (included) was fine.

It's not far from the center, but not really close...

The staff at the counter were great Good spread for breakfast.

I am concerned that the toilets don;t have proper disposal for sanitary napkins. Open bins unhygenic. No facilities to make tea/coffee or toast very constraining. Not enough food options in the university.

Clean rooms, decent accommodation in this price. Front desk staff is good.

Breakfast is served only from 7:30 to 9:00. Worst part they even don't let u enter. Cafeteria staff is rude. No services near like food joints etc and on top, you don't get anything inside. They will give u free breakfast as if they are obliging you and giving a donation. or a charity

Saint Mary's University was not too far from the city center and had an excellent breakfast for guests. Bus stop was next to the campus so there was an easy access everywhere but also walking to downtown was a good option. The staff was helpful and there was plenty of services available.

    Not really anything to complain.

We had 3 spacious bedroom unit with adjoining kitchenette for a reasonable price of a hotel room. Included breakfast was great. We were very happy with our accommodation in St Mary's.

There is no A/C and no dishes/pots/utensils in the unit which were not a problem when we were there as the weather outside was cool and we had been camping and had all the hardware for cooking and eating

We loved the affordability, location, breakfast, and room layout. It was a gorgeous place to stay, and a perfect for a family travelling with young kids!

It would be nice to have the option of renting some kitchen supplies, like plates and cutlery and a couple of pots and pans for cooking. The kitchen is great, but only if you travel with all of your own cooking equipment!

Clean, walking distance to everything. Great value. Would do it again.

People used the emergency exits without realizing it made a lot of noise, specially at night.

the location is pretty close to Halifax downtown and close the park.

It is a little bit noisy during my stay because of the summer maintenance of the sport field.

We are a family with three teenagers. We stayed in a five bedroom dorm so each of our children had their own room which was great. You won't find better value for a family. The breakfast was great and the cafeteria looks new and was very clean.

Our only problem was we were on the top floor and for some reason didn't get much cold water. Only warm and very hot. At the end of our stay we realized we could fill our water bottles in the cafeteria.

Access to the Gym was appreciated and really nice. Good location. Laundry room. Hairdresser and barber.

Window could not be opened No fridge in the room or in the TV room. Price could be lowered it is not like a hotel as there is no services for the room. Better variety of breakfast there was only scramble egg and this every morning.

Included an excellent breakfast buffet from the school's cafeteria. Onsite laundry facility. The value for the cost of the rental.

Our 2 bedroom apt had a stove... but no pots/pans snd no microwave.

SMU is very good value for money and includes a full breakfast that set me up for the day. The staff are very freindly and helpful. The rooms are clean but basic, with good wifi.

The university is just a little too far from the city centre and attractions to make it easy to go back to your room during a days sightseeing. The room would benefit from the addition of a more comfortable chair.

Close to downtown. Twin beds fine for one night, since its a student building. Liked staff, cleanliness, free parking. Available access to adjacent shared TV lounge and microwave oven and sink. Free full breakfast. Free wi-fi. Free local phone calls from room. Window did open.

More spartan and busy than expected. No air conditioning (needed!); no kettle; no coffee-maker; no fridge or sink or TV in room. Shared bathroom ok; shared separate toilet not ok (busier location than expected). Heavy doors to every room slammed frequently. Drinking water only available through purchase.

Good budget choice which allows one to spend more freely on other aspects of the trip

There are no stores or restaurants within easy walking distance so we did a lot of walking to and from downtown Halifax. Accommodation is spartan to say the least.
