- location was great
Location Decoration Friendly staff Price
A bit small room Street with no car
loved the location. so close to Chateau Frontenac and the quaint streets of old Quebec.
the complimentary breakfast was quite meager.
The courteous staff and the upgrade we were given after the thing that we did not like.
Going to our room the second evening at 10:00 pm to find that the key to our room did not work because of a dead battery and the staff was unable to replace the battery until the next day because they did not have the right tool to access the battery. We were given another room but did not have access to any of our belongings other than the clothes we were wearing. No emergency toothbrushes or toothpaste were available.
Location. Cozy hotel
Small room Asked to tip the servant for included breakfast! Incredibly small quantities for the included breakfast: Could not have both coffee and juice. Only 1 croissant/bagel! Half a (very thin) slice of ham and half a (very thin again) slice of cheese!
Location. The walk was much less than we expected from the side street.
Breakfast was very minimal and service was not good. Server was more concerned about the tip which he said at the outset was not included. Tasteless!!
clean, quiet and helpful staff
room a little too small and breakfast was very disorganized.
The ambience in the hotel was lovely--the combination of old and new seamlessly done. I enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. And the room--bed, bath, layout--superb!
Comfortable, spacious and clean; best location for sightseeing and shopping; you feel at home.
A bar and small cafe in the hotel would be great as the terrace cafe is closed in winter.
Location was perfect for our first trip to Quebec. Located in the walled area, walking was easy to all the main streets, shopping, and sights. The room was what I expected and the price was fair. The location really is the best part of staying here. There is a bus stop 50 yards away which is extremely convenient. The tourist information center is very close if you want to use that service and they are very helpful. Rooms were good, location was great, I would stay here again.
Hotel staff seemed to be unaware of any restaurants or attractions outside of the immediate (tourist) area. Staff was helpful in locating on the map where addresses were, but made no mention that the bus system went there, instead of a 25 minute walk.
staff were great, especially front desk help (phillipe), very clean everywhere (room, bath, hall, ect) breakfast included was big $ save, everyone in area speaks English. entire city is friendly
Location was excellent.
Hotel entrance was very hard to enter up steps with large suitcases.
The location was perfect for walking to sites in Old Quebec. Our room was wonderful. Front desk staff very helpful.
Most of the desk staff was very helpful in providing guidance, directions and reservations when needed.
Could have been a bit more punctual opening for breakfast, since business meeting can begin as early as 8:00 requiring me to miss breakfast some days. A city water break made the tap water undrinkable for a day, but no effort was made to notify guests or provide them with bottled water as other hotels did.
The location of Hotel Sainte-Anne for folks focusing their trip on Old Quebec is perfect. It's located on a non pedestrian street however there is convenient and reasonable public parking within walking distance. After spending the day taking in the charm of Old Quebec, my Sisters and I would return to Hotel Sainte Anne feeling like we were truly living the life of this wonderfully quaint city.
We liked everything about this hotel. It has an excellent location In Quebec and is just steps from the visitor's center where we were able to book several trips. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.
The friendly staff .very clean .great breakfast .and the location could not be any better .and reasonable priced I would stay there again and again
The location, the restaurant/bar food and atmosphere wonderful! Service was superb. The staff of the hotel were very helpful with every question. It was like returning home every evening!
Newer, high quality industrial style with old world charm decor. Staff friendly and helpful. Superb location to walk old town. Included breakfast offered good, fresh choices. Our dinner there was excellent as well.
Bar drink was very small.
Impressed with the location and street setting. It would be a great place in the summer time. Breakfast was provided with both a spotless setting and supported with great service .All the staff were great. Both from the perspective of the hotel staff and brreakfast personnel.
Was not impressed with the TV content as it appeared most stations had to be purchased at an additional cost which was not identified at time of booking..In all my travels over the years this was the first time I ever encountered this approach.
Can't beat the location..in the heart of the city and walk to shopping, restaurants, tourist center, and bus tours starting points.
limited choices on breakfast menu.
Hotel location was excellent. In the heart of old town. The room was large, super clean and well equipped. We had deluxe Queen that faced street. This did not interfere with our enjoyment as it was still a quiet room. However we travelled in October which was off season and quieter. Receptionist was very personable.
Breakfast service was extremely slow and lacking on some minor requests. Made me wonder if the servers' grasp of English was perhaps not that good. We laughed that on both days the servers were able to draw our attention to the fact that breakfast was included but a gratuity was still expected. We stayed two nights and found the room supplies, I,e, coffee, sugar, shampoo etc had not been replaced for the 2nd night stay.
Nice hotel-great location! Room was nice but small!
Parking! We had a very difficult time finding a place to park!
Staff were fantastic, wonderful room in EVERY respect and a great breakfast. Great location. Loved it!
Breakfast is a good deal
New sinks in bathroom. Too small and messy
