staff were excellent, friendly , helpful.
The location customer service clean rooms everything is great about the motel.
Staff was super friendly and helpful!!
The turn off from the highway coming back at dark...made me nervous.
Very clean facility .
Road noise in early morning - certainly not controllable by the motel.
The room was clean and comfortable and I was surprised at how up to date it was considering the location and the price
Too far out of town. No free breakfast at the price Noisy, close to highway traffic
Convenient for our purposes of stopover from the Rockies to Vancouver. Very friendly and accommodating hostess on arrival. Lovely little creek backing the property - watch out for mossies!
Views of the mountains were blocked by vehicles. Quite a distance from the centre of town.
Friendly, lovely flowers and lawns. Nice to wander down to the salmon river. Loved the barbecue and tables, lawn chairs. Nice and clean.
Very musty odor in our room, and difficult to get back on the busy highway
Very clean, all the basics you need are there, staff really helpful. We used this as an overnight stop traveling through, it would work too as a place to stay a few nights visiting the area.
No eating spots within walking distance, though they are only a very short drive away.
The staff was beyond excellent. We arrived to Salmon Arm much earlier than we expected and we were allowed to check-in early.
It was a bit out of date, but great value and it would be good for a long stay since it had a kitchenette!
clean and comfortable
best wifi connection out of all the hotels on our 3 week road trip! Very friendly staff.
Great location, rooms good value for money. Stayed one night but could have stayed longer.
mossies meant we could not open windows and aircon noisy and too cold.
A bit far from the city centre / lake
location was excellent and, even though it was just off the highway, did not experience any issues with noise. Wi-to was excellent because it seems they have one router per cabin
furnishings were older, but everything was very clean.
They welcomed our small dog. They were very helpful with directions to town and knowledge re Salmon Arm. We definitely will be planning to stay there again in the future.
Cabin had a fridge, microwave and stove. For those that need to cook their own meals for dietary reasons this was pelrfect. Excellent hosts. Quiet. Fast internet. Close to town.
The flowing river and the cozy comfort of the room
The high weeds and grass could be cut down
There is a kitchen in the room. It is convenient to cook your own favorite food and save money.
The water flow from faucet is small.
Location and the view mountain outside the room. You can sit there and relax.
Wifi connection is not good inside the room.
Reasonably priced suites with friendly, helpful owners!!
Large clean room with kitchenette at an economical price. Friendly staff.
Right on the Trans Canada Highway
There was to be internet access, but could not get on at any time. I'm sensitive to mould and there was a strong smell of mould in the room.
the help from the owners regarding where to eat, drink, visit.....go to the pier (osprey nest and lots of river otters) and definitely visit the Station microBrewery for friendly, personal service, great food and fabulous beer!!
Poor location, well out of town, a long walk, rather too far to walk (and we like walking), but (currently Sept 2013) made worse (dangerous), by extensive roadworks (as stated by owner), to sum up accommodation......used as regular stay by roadworkers, perfectly clean and functional, but as we both agreed, not somewhere we'd want to spend the evening (we have cooked 75% of evenings in apts and eaten out the rest), the apartment had reasonable space, but was basic and tiny windows, making it a bit dark n dingy, the front picture of the BBQ area is basically where you look out to, and the main road, sitting on the drive. The private river beach, is a stretch of the imagination...a tiny bit of sandy river bank (which could shift next flood).....Don't dismiss this, but compared to the additional cost for more central and more ambient location, the cost of eating out makes up the difference...
Was clean, but had a musty, damp smell. We needed the internet for an important meeting, but the signal was too weak and sporadic, so had to go into town to get good wifi.
