The room, the bed ,the bathroom. The photos are from the newer section of the hotel. They put us in the old section misleading at best.

Style and ambiance.

Had to walk outside to get to Denny's. Not that bad an inconvenience, however

We did arrive early and I was quite sick and the lady at the desk got us in a room within a couple of hours.

We stayed in a room that wasn't as nice as the one I stayed in the month before. I was a little disappointed about that. The room was on the ground level and it could have had something to do with checking it early.

Our meal at CHOPS was excellent.

The pillows were too large for me so I slept on a towel.

Very comfortable bed, clean, modern facility

This was our second visit to this facility and the second time the hotel failed our wake up call. Its hailed as the Sandmans signature hotel however the front desk clerk did not impress us with his sombre attutude. Most front desk employees are friendly and welcoming. Not a great advertising message for a so called signature Hotel.

Close by the Airport and great Airport Shuttle, running every half and hour. They have two medium swimming pools outdoor, great during summer and one indoor.

if you are in the Tower, it is very important to make sure, your room is not facing the '99' hay way, traffic noise from 4am on.

I wanted a hotel close to the airport

Good service. The service agent at check in we had was Angela. She deserves the best you can offer in terms of advancement within the company.

Outdoor Pool was out of servive for cleaning purposes and the other pool had too many kids...so I settled for the wonderful sauna and enjoyed

Access & shuttle to airport. Good price with breakfast included. Excellent, though expensive meal at their Chop House Rest.

There were 2 minor maintenance issues in my room. My room was apparently near the gym & was noisy. The room was closed, stuffy, hot, & dark when I entered. It was not inviting at all. After opening drapes, sliding door & window, & turning on the fan, it was much better. It took a while. It's a good thing the window & door could open. That made a huge difference. I understand keeping rooms closed for energy conservation. When you know the room is booked, I recommend opening & airing it out prior to guest arrival/

Location, close to the airport.

It took three requests to get a blown bulb replaced in my room. I ordered room service that never arrived.

Have stayed at Sandman Airport Dozens of times (excellent) Sandman On Davie (very good) Sandman Downtown (very good) Sandman Victoria Many times (excellent) But the rooms have something to be desired at Sandman Signature Vancouver Airport, need microwaves and fridges in room, phonebooks, and after haveing a backed up toilet as soon as we checked in and waiting 1/2 an hour for assistance, the guy in a suit comes in with only a plunger in hand and after he unclogs the toilet my wife notices him through the crack in the door rinsing off the plunger in the sink. He then comes out of bathroom with a dripping plunger and says "Good to go". My wife question the guy about rinsing the plunger and not sterilizing the sink and counter and floor. At first he tried to lie but did own up. Afterward a cleaner did show up as my wife was pretty irate and almost ready to leave. Overall experience 4/10

It's an okay hotel. There are maintenance issue. Both elevators broke down while we were there, and they could not get maintenance to come fix them. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The location is outstanding, in the heart of the West End. Otherwise the place is an average hotel.

Great hotel - best most comfortable bed Ive had yet in any hotel. Fantastic shower and quality toiletries.. nice touch. definately recommend this as teh pick for staying near the airport if you get a good price on Booking.com.

Only downside was that Denny's seemed to be the only breakfast option. For such a quality hotel seems a bit at odds with image. Still was a decent breakfast all up.

There was an unpleasant smell in the room. We had to keep the patio door open in order to be able to sleep. The corridor was warmer than a sauna.

We checked out early based on the fire drill and the lack of elevtor and sleep, very disappointing

Great entrance, easy parking, super room(king suite) excellent service

TV wasn't working well, but we didn't go there for TV!

Nice facilities, very clean and friendly staff. Free wireless and parking were an asset compared to downtown hotels. About 30 minutes from downtown but ok if you have a car.

The lobby was posh, and welcoming (the temperature was very cold at the front desk). The gardens and courtyard are spectacular!

But the rooms were 'okay'...they look luxurious but on closer inspection - the tub had chips and the vanity had a big chip out of it. Toilet roll holder was falling. (Room 112 at Vancouver). I don't complain about things like that, but just take notice of it. The bed was super comfy and flatscreen was great.Towels were fluffy and white - everything was very clean. Thanks
