I like the hotel room
At check in the lady at the front desk was loud and rude and it make my two night stay unbearable
Room was very nice and clean. Didn't hear a lot of noise from the airport nearby.
The staffs prompt attention to fix any detail missed.
Clean, spaceous and a very comfortable bed!
The room was excellent
The immediate public environment beyond your boundaries was poor. I slipped on the wet pavement in the approach circle and injured myself. The staff were very kind coming to my rescue.
Survice is poor. We had to carry all our luggage to the room without any help staff.
The bed was fairly comfy
The food was over cooked, salty and terrible. I eat at Moxie's regularly so it was disappointing. For the price a courtesy water would have been nice in the room. The bed was okay, not as big nice as a Hilton bed. The TV in the bedroom was tiny and the lighting in the couch area was not cozy so I didn't sit in there. The bathroom was lacking counter space to put my things and the sink splashed everywhere. It was annoying.
Comfy bed and nice view from 8th floor
I discovered this hotel when I needed to make an overnight visit to Toronto. The location is perfect as it is close to the airport. If you don't like the noise from the airplanes, this is not the place for you. This was my second visit here and both visits were excellent. Another perk is that Moxie's restaurant is attached to the hotel. The staff are always courteous, polite and helpful, which is a definite plus. I will definitely stay here again.
The only negative was that the Internet was a bit spotty at times.
It was a great room, the staff was great, everything was clean, it felt like a small apartment, the view was fantastic from our room also, the shower was a bit small but everything else was excellent.
The shower a bit small. We also got stuck on the elevator for about 6 minutes the elevator kept going up and down and the doors wouldn't open at all. When we told the staff at the lobby they said "sorry they might be working on it." very scary situation.
Upscale-looking hotel, rooms were contemporary and simple. Good for short stays. Close to airport.
They gave us the wrong room type--we had reserved a king but they only gave a queen. We went back and forth with them a bit and they did eventually offer us another room, but by that time it was late and we were tired and just wanted to to go to bed, so we didn't move. Unfortunately we were staying there during the yearly Carabana so there were scantily-clad, drunk 22-year olds everywhere, which certainly put a damper in our stay, but that wasn't the hotel's fault.
I liked that I was able to check in earlier with no extra charge.
I didn't like the fact that I was charged for a movie that I didn't even watch. $16+ tax for a movie. OuCh!!!
That you needed a credit card. Some of us don't want credit cards!
Wish the pool was open longer
Room was large, beds comfy, balcony upgrade due to a glitch, awesome.. Very clean and the waiter at Moxeys was great.
The spa was closed for maintenance
Room was spacious and comfortable. Attached Moxy's restaurant and bar is very good.
We really enjoyed our stay. From the moment we walked through the doors, the reception staff were fantastic. We were treated like honored guests. Our room was immaculate. All the comforts of home that you would need were available. - clean towels, iron, coffee makers, tea kettle for us tea consumers, can opener, cutlery, plates, glasses, working hair dryer- it was all there. We were given the king size bed and I we couldn't have been more comfortable. The sheets were clean, the pillows provided the right support. We had a restful sleep. The room itself was pristine. No moldy bathroom, dirty carpets, broken down fixtures. The level of care that went into the cleanliness of the room is top notch. I was hesitant at first to book this hotel because of the proximity to the airport but I can honestly say that I didn't hear any of the plains taking of or landing from our room. Not one. My husband and I were both pleasantly surprised. We highly recommended this hotel to anyone. Perfect 10's all across the board.... staff, cleanliness, value for money.
Very friendly, upscale hotel with a great menu and a great bar area to unwind...Room was spacious and very clean...Grab a Cocktail and watch the planes landing during sunset.Great place and a 15 min ride to downtown...
very nice staff
wish they had breakfast buffet
The hotel is modern and clean. The front desk staff was polite, helpful and cheerful. The beds and bedding were in superb shape and very clean. The pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean, had a great shower. The carpet was in fine shape and was clean. Overall, my stay was excellent. Wished I had more time in Toronto in order to enjoy the hotel.
The balcony of our hotel room could have used some cleaning. The glass wall enclosing the balcony was dirty with bird poop, the vent for the air conditioner needed cleaning, and the steel safety bar on the porch was broken. Also, guests shouldn't have to pay for parking, when parking is not scarce at the hotel parking lot.........numerous empty parking spaces at all times. Location of hotel is about 30 minutes drive time from downtown......traffic on Gardiner Expressway is slow, due to congestion and construction.
Not far from the air port, I enjoy the hot tub and pool
Some of the receptionist not even a smile when you talking with them, pretty serious look.
service and friendliness was exceptional thank you
great job nothing to complain
