wonderful staff, very friendly very nice rooms nice clean hallways quiet convenient easy booking , easy to find great 24 hr access to Denny.s

there was a slight problem with cleanliness. the glasses in the room were quite dirty. there were some splashes of ?blood on the wall in the bathroom. some of the room was in a bit of disrepair. on the whole though, we were very comfortable and happy.

I liked the Duvet Cover and pillows and decor.

I found the room we were in a little cramped for room. And no continental breakfast.

Pool is small. Staff didn't replenish my supplies ie. Sugar, etc.when I had used them

Our first stay at a Sandman hotel. The location worked for us right on Highway 1 on our way home. Checkin was efficient.

The room we got was a bit dated, the air conditioner quite loud and troublesome to set to a better temp for us.

The people at the front desk were great they have fridges and coffee pots ,dishes ,microwaves in all the rooms and it was nice having the Dennys their food was good . Location was good during the stampede the fireworks were right out front.

We had rented 2 rooms one for us and one for the kids both our rooms smelled like cigarett smoke.we had to get someone from the front desk to bring up febreeze a week of useing febreeze did not help at all . The duvet on the bed was really dirty we asked them to replace it and .when they replaced it was not the right size . there was dity towels and garbage in the hall way for a day and a half.The sheets on our bed had a orange stain on it and after they had cleaned our room one of our towels were really dirty. We let the front desk know of all these problems. We have never had this from a hotel ever .when we got home we sent a coment card to the hotel. Also have never sent a bad coment card before

A/C was not operating when we arrived - breakers for a/c plugs were turned off - Microwave oven breaker shut itself off as well Toilet paper very uncomfortable

I have been to few other Sandman already like Edmonton, Vanc & Yorkton, it always satisfy me. It's the simplicity & cleanliness of the hotel, not bad price & right location. Friendly staff, accessible to restaurants, very comfortable beddings. I love the bathtub, clean bathroom, complete amenities. The sliding door between the bedroom & living room impressed me! Perfect for privacy especially if one of you still couldn't sleep & want to watch tv without disturbing the other person. Enough & spacious parking lot. Location is right by the main road. I haven't tried the pool, hopefully next time when I stay longer than one night.

Maybe more shampoo, conditioner & soaps. Free breakfast too.

We were together with two room, but arrived separately. They would not let us check in for the other person or try to give him a room near us when he arrived. We were as far apart as possible. Three hockey teams came in late on one of the wings and the players hung out loudly until 1 am. Staff did call the police. Furniture is worn and needs replacement. Bathroom is updated. Die Mitarbeiter sind super nett und hilfsbereit. genial! Preis-Leistug ist super. Super Hotel, man fühlt sich einfach wohl. Jedem zu empfehlen.

The upgrade was appreciated.

My room was a little loud because of its location above the pool. A continental breakfast would have been nice.

Location was good for where we wanted to be. The staff was helpful when we needed to put an item in the fridge overnight.

The room was good but thought the price could be a little better.

Countryside and City trip sounds conflicting but this hotel is outside of downtown and the hustle and bustle of the city but not not too far out that you can't easily get into the city. This hotel is across from the Olympic Park. It is easy to get to if your are looking for that side of Calgary. We will come back to this hotel.

Staff was courteous and respected privacy. Front desk staff willingly corrected a mistake that had been made in regards to our reservation. They were friendly and accommodating. Everything we wanted was easily accessible.
