First room smoky. Second room poor bed and too hot. Could not lower temperature and heating system noisy and keep us awake. Overall, a very poor experience.
Might not bother anyone else buy we had to walk through a wedding reception & photos to get to the pool. Felt peculiar.
Our stay was very comfortable, clean room and decent price. Friendly staff and well located. We needed a late check out, forgot to ask when we checked in and asked in the morning and it was not a problem.
Our only complaint was the remote didn't work for the bedroom television in our king room. Which we didn't bother complaining about considering we could change the channel on the tv.
Beds were not queen beds but doubles and tall people know they are shorter had to pay more to correct problem for tallest in group others were out of luck.
The staff was friendly and accommodating. The location is great, having quick access to ring road, a dennys attached and a moxies 10 feet away.
The pool was very small and crowed and to access it you had to walk through a busy, crowded convention area full of wedding guest. Not something I'd like to do in a towel. Also there was hair in our bathroom that had not been cleaned.
A good, convenient experience & location for trans-canada commuters passing thru Regina. Had all amenities within and external amenities within close proximity.
The Hotel is clean and recently renovated. It has a great location near a Moxies and a Denny's. The rooms were like suites and clean.
We were moved to a smoking room because the hotel was full. I think bc we used booking.com we were move-able. The air conditioner didn't work well, so it was hot and smelled of smoke. Yuck!
AC made for a bad impression
Room was very clean and shower had good preasure. Pool area was clean.
First of all Denny's was horrable. Bland food. Second Moxies food was average but went for drinks and 8 drinks cost us $70. A bit over priced IMO. And most importantly the pool area is very undersized and the hot tub while being nice and hot and clean the jets were very under powered. And the volume in the pool area gets quite unbearable with just a few kinds playing.
old style coffee maker in the room, it's 2014 perhaps Sandman can consider upgrading to a Kuireg one cup at a time coffee maker like other Hotels & Motels are doing.
Close to mosaic stadium
Check in was an extremely painful process. We had two rooms for work related visits. They required photocopies of my if and credit card even though I mad reservation and payment online.
The bed was the most comfortable king size bed I ever slept on. And the comforters were the softest ever. The rooms were very big and clean with two tvs.
The movies on the tv to rent were very exspensive
The direct shuttle to craven...awesome thank-you.
loved it all
Only good thing was I rooms where made up each day we came back from racing
The surprise of a 200 hold each night staying at the hotel. Normally 50/100. Mold in the bathroom. Can hear your upstairs neighbors every move. Pool was dirty. Each day we where there, we seem to have less and less towels in our room. Pictures don't match the rooms. I will never stay with my family in a sandman hotel again
Very fast check in clean modern hotel
Air conditioner was to loud.
Easy access to highway for travellers as well as shopping facilities are close by.
The furniture in our room was showing signs of wear. Television remote was also in need of replacement.
Location, quiet, facilities
Not quite as clean as one would expect in this price range.
It was very clean
We were there for business for one night and had no hot water to shower, and we still had to pay over $100 for our room.
The restaurant next to the hotel (Moxie's) is fantastic!
Extremely difficult to get a cab from this location. Many people were waiting for a very long time. Not the hotel staff's issue but it is a problem because the location is far away from downtown.
Good Location off # 1 Highway, cleanliness of room and facility and location to restaurants.
I was very unhappy that because I was paying up front the first night for my room with My debit card the wanted to take an extra $400 plus the amount of the room the room cost $317 for 2 nights and then $400 on top to hold till I checked out so $717. Also the room had sticky night stands not washed hair and dirt in shower and the blanket on the bed was dirty! For this price you want clean rooms!!!
Access to two eating establishments on the property.
King bed was very comfortable.
The washroom was in poor condition for a low nightly rate, let alone $185/night. Awkward amateur fix job on the tub water fixture. Water pressure from shower was so low you had to run around to get wet. Very few places to set things in the living room area of suite as well as in bedroom. Tight quarters for a suite. Nightly rate shouldn't be based on size of bed alone. Two tv's in the suite, but one remote didn't work at all and the other had several buttons that didn't work. Overall, I expected better for this type and cost of room.
