The staff was friendly, my room was clean, the tub was horrible, old and the bathroom floor was slippery, other than that, the location is convenient. The bed was comfortable and warm. I really dislike that I could hear the traffic and the people in the next room, the kids were loud and they were crying, for a long time, I blame that on the parents not the hotel, overall it was ok. I would've love to have a menu in the case they have room service, I didn't see any of that in my room.
I didn't like the bathroom's slippery floors, the tub and courtain, the poor assistance for room service, would be nice to have a menu for breakfast and dinner in the rooms, and I don't like hearing the guests next room mostly crying kids.
Leaving in the morning to go home!
We were kept up till 1130pm by the party across the hall. Went down stairs to ask for a new room, the clerk didn't care too much. Put us in a second room, right when we got off the elevator could hear the next party on this new floor. Fianlly went and demanded a third room were we finally got to sleep at 1230am. NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL. We were told its a party hotel when we got back and shared our horrible stay with many friends. On top of the used shampoo that we found in our first room when we got there. Makes me think what else is not cleaned and put back.
Bathroom could use a reno.
Beds and pillows were quite comfortable. Room was a nice size.
Lighting in room wasn/t very bright.
Close to BC Place Clean room Walking distance to numerous venues including restaurants, shopping, transit Excellent, helpful Staff Great rates Non-smoking Quiet
Pool was not super clean, but there was a large contingent of young kids using it 2nd floor smell like pot as soon as you came off the elevator
The room was clean and comfortable as was the rest of the hotel (except pool).
On the 1st night we arrived, we went to the pool and after we were already in it, we noticed it was dirty on the shallow end so we just swam around the deep end.We went into the hot tub and where the light is, we noticed dirt/dust floating so we didn't sit there and we stayed 20 minutes. We decided to give it another try, 2nd night was much better it was clean and we stayed 1 hour+.Good job.3rd night was the same as the 1st night.Hmm, wondering if it only gets cleaned at a certain time and we only got lucky once but we will stay there again though only because of the price and location and hope the pool is clean ; )
Near buss station
This hotel is very popular for pre and post-cruise travellers, and it has everything you need. The food in the restaurant was good, but not exceptional. Location great for downtown walks.
We felt the restaurant prices were definately overpriced. We went out for breakfast every day after the first morning, as there is better value for money in the area.
Staff very helpfull and location
Cramped room. Looking very tired, needs an upgrade. Cost, not value for money, wifi virtually useless.
The gentleman that checked us in and out was excellent! He was very friendly!!! Have have us very good directions on where we needed to be and in the morning upon checkout gave us great advice on where to eat!!!
$250 plus over $20 dollars for parking is to much for one night
Room with a view. Friendly helpful staff
Very close to railway station for our journey to Seattle. Also very convenient for dropping off our hire car (National Car Hire within Sandiman Hotel). It certainly seemed a very popular hotel and we weren't disappointed.
As we drink tea most of the time, it didn't have a kettle and that was a disappointment as we don't drink coffee (coffee machine provided).
Excellent location for the activities we had in mind . Canucks game ,movie theaters ,sky train
you could grow old waiting for the elevators!!!
the hair dryer in our room was broken and we didn't get a new one even though we requested it
I loved the staff as they were very helpful and friendly. The bed was amazingly comfortable Liked the couch as it added comfort to the room when relaxing Loved having the fridge in the room Like having the air conditioning to keep it at a cool temperature
The King Corporate room was small for the price. The towels looked old and not of the quality that the room should have for the price and found a long hair in them which was not my colour Radio was cheap
The room did not have a full length mirror and there was a petestal sink in the bathroom. It was ver hard to get ready in the morning. No closet either. The room was as small as a closet. The pillows were so thick I could not use one as it made my neck very sore ... We stayed here for an event and would only stay for an event again because of the walking distance to the arena
The paint was peeling in the bathroom Illinois I'm coming up. The carpet was also coming up at the corners and on the sides. When in the bathroom your knees were touching the bathroom door and you had to straddle the toilet seat to close the door. It was a much smaller room then I would expect for $180, it was also of poor quality than I was expecting.
Great location, accross the street from the Q.E. theatre. Walking distance to B.C. Place and Rogers Place.
I felt that the room we had was great for our needs. I really enjoyed the white bedding which is a lot more relaxing. The room had a great view and is located in a great area for food, dancing and shopping.
walking distance to our show, friendly staff and clean, comfy rooms!
Location is excellent especially for events at the Rogers arena. Bathroom has no fan so the mirror fogs up.
Lobby could be better and more inviting as well as overall cleanliness and freshness. The whole place has a 'drab and tired' feeling. Not cared for.
Central location in the city; Moxie's was great. The bed was extremely comfortable. Overall the hotel appears clean, modern and organized.
The bathroom sink barely worked in our suite, and the bathroom fan was non-functional. Coffee cups were dirty, with caked-on food. For the price of one night, I expected better quality.
Good price and location
An older hotel
Nice room. Nice restaurant staff.
Surly (bordering on rude) reception staff. A smile costs nothing. Booked hotel online in an emergency on 09.08.14 for stay overnight on 10.08.14. On checking in the price of the room was almost double what was shown online - due to a conference in town. The facts online should be amended if they vary. Why do you put your prices up when there is such an event? Surely you would fill your hotel if you kept your prices stable.
The bathroom was too small. I actually had to go over the toilet bowl to be able to open the door. The elevators are used by staff and guests; there is not enough and waiting for it a long time is not good.
