I love the bed.
I wish the gym was free and that the hotel included a breakfast.
The location of this hotel was very good.
The room was a closet stuck in behind the elevator. This meant that the bed and room vibrated audibly for most of our stay. The staff seemed less than happy to be there. The room doors had no seals which meant being woken up by voices and screaming babies in the hall at night. The bathroom door wouldn't close.

Beware of the restaurant on site as it was the subject of an undercover cleanliness documentary of hotels and this restaurant failed miserably, and even when alerted to their failings did nothing to improve. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!, wI fi is awful

Very poor WiFi
Quite small but manageable
My reservation was confirmed for two beds, for two people, but when I arrived I was given a single room for one person. This did not work, but after demanding a room, for no other rooms were available in the city, three hours later I was given the proper confirmed room. This probably could have been Booking.com's mistake.................. Regards
We liked where it was and that there was a Restaurant.
Long lineup to check in.. The room was the size of a postage stamp with no room service

The location was great for access to public transport, and also dining. The bathroom was poorly planned though.
Location was good, close to sky train. Staff were helpful and friendly
Issues with noise in my room meant I changed room three times. Noise blamed on old air conditioning units. Some of the rooms also needed updating. Wear on carpets or bathrooms was visible.
Our room was just next to an elevator and it was noisy all night. The room was small.
They used to have a free van to the Canada Place cruise docks, though now discontinued. Should seriously plan to offer that again - would be a BIG plus factor to decide to stay at Sandman for people cruising out of Vancouver
Very friendly staff
unbelievably cramped small room. bathroom so small the washbasin situated outside at the entrance. Bathroom only the size of a bath and toilet - no floor space. Only one bedside night stand due to lack of room. All other furniture to large for such a small room. View over the hotel ventilation system and noisy. Requested high floor (in advance as part of booking) and was told we could not have higher than 4th floor yet guests upon checking in were being given higher than us. Upon check in staff evidently overwhelmed by # of guests checking in and communication was curt business only, no pleasanteries. We would never stay again and would not recommend to others.

I booked with Booking.com and they did not had a booking for us on the system. By midnight where you go? Not funny and I had all the paperwork for the booking and confirmation. Booking.com really need to sort out communication. Aftrer more then $200, there was not even tea bags in the room for tea and noise from road was too noisy. Some kind of Road Work going on and on and on........ from early morning:-(
