My husband is a smoker and there really aren't alot of places out there that provide rooms for smokers, so he really appreciates that. Thank you Sandman we will be back I'am sure :)

Shuttle service did not start until 4:00 am needed to pay for cab not that close to airport.

Thi slocation was exactly what I needed. The cost was excellent for what I wanted. The location was convenient for what I needed and teh staff did a very good job.

Good solid clean hotel at a fair cost for the time spent.

First night the mattress was so soft my partner slept on the floor. The next night they gave us a firm mattress and it was great. The second night we were on the ground floor and very early morning travellers were so noisy I had to ask them to be quiet.

Clean room, friendly staff, great location and excelent value.

A little noisy from being close to elevators

The airport shuttle was VERY helpful & the drivers were kind and courteous.

as our flight departure was 7:00 am, the 4:30 am shuttle was exactly what we needed, especially traveling with young children and double luggage. we were able to lock up our luggage with concierge who had it ready and waiting in the lobby for the early morning shuttle. a great convenience and clearly they know what traveling families need

Good location near the airport.

The air conditioner was very ineffective; a hot, muggy night made it difficult to sleep.

Close to Airport

Rooms were small and dark. A bit depressing. There was only 1 side table which made 2 people staying at the room very inconveniencing. The lights were very outdated and not very nice looking. The bedspreads seem old and nowadays, most hotles do not use bedspreads as it is not very hygenic? Chair upholstery is old and seemed dirty and bed was soft. Bathroom did not have much counter sapce to put toiletries. There was a hole by the towel rack.

We chose the hotel because of its location close to the airport.

It was close to the airport and had shuttle bus service. Also had a restaurant attached.

we stayed 1 night we had travelled from vancouver island & was on a flight back to england the next morning so the stay at the sandman was just perfect for an over night stay good postion for a choice of places to eat in fact we wishes we could have stayed long as the room was so nice.also the airport schuttle was very good

Surly staff. Wife has mobility issues, was not informed bed was in a loft, washroom downstairs.

Convenient to the Vancouver airport and has a shuttle service to it. The latter was prompt and the driver very helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean. Price was competitive. The attached Moxie's restaurant was of high quality with good food and attractive pricing.

We had an early morning flight and did not receive our requested wake-up call nor did our alarm clock work properly. Fortunately, we awoke on time without any outside help. When reported to the hotel clerk during departure, he did not offer any apology and seemed unconcerned, leading us to believe this was a regular occurrence. By the way, access to the hotel by car is very difficult if one is not familiar with the streets in the area. When approaching the hotel, and thinking we were entering its access road, we wound up in an on-ramp to the highway northbound into Vancouver with no convenient exits or return routes. It took us nearly an hour to find our way back to the hotel.

Liked the free shuttle, location, and convenience to the airport. Perfect for a stopover. Would stay again

Would have liked a mini bar option and would have appreciated a jug to make tea plus perhaps some complimentary biscuits etc after a long flight

There is free parking at the hotel. It is only around 10 minutes from the airport. The breakfast wasn't included but was good value.

The bathroom was not clean and the air conditioning was extremely noisy so we had to turn it off at night so we were able to sleep. It was a very humid night so not very comfortable. Our friends could not get their air conditioning to work despite the engineer being called twice. They were given a fan for their room.

Close to aiport and airport shuttle was very convenient.
