Friendly and helpful folk! Home from home feeling.Great breakfasts. The location was super. Our room was spacious and clean with home comforts.
That we had to leave and return home.
Large room, comfortable bed, lovely garden, genial hosts.
Helpful and friendly hosts, nice rooms, excellent conversations with other guests, beautiful gardens, good location, availability of refrigerator.
It would have been nice to have a coffee pot or electric kettle to heat water for tea in the evening. I'm sure the hosts would have been helpful had I asked.
Hosts are very nice and will do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable.
On a main road so when the theatre lets out, traffic noise is high for a while.
The breakfast was always delicious, made with fresh fruit every day. The owners helped us in advising us where to go, and how to get there. They made reservations for us at the restaurants, and gave us discount tickets for other places.
We could not use our credit cards to pay our bill.
family atmosphere, cleanliness, breakfast
Loved the garden! And the dog!
Beautiful gardens and water feature Good food Lovely owners Beautiful rooms Wonderful location
The atmosphere was fantastic. It was very clean. The gardens were wonderful and peaceful. The owners were delightful and helpful. Breakfast fit for a queen :)
very helpful and informative of the wineries and restaurants beautiful and restful gardens delicious breakfasts
Breakfast very good, and the other guests we met.
Breakfast took too long the day we had to depart. Had an oven problem. Other two days were fine. Miscommunication between booking.com and B&B owner which caused an issue with B&B owner and us.
We liked the location......could walk to town and park if desire. The breakfast was very good and the owners very accommodating. They made sure to remember what everyone preferred to drink for breakfast and made sure to have water for those who wanted it also.
The house was beautiful. The owners, Alan and Diane, were so friendly, polite, perfect hosts, and made our stay very comfortable. I would book there again without any hesitation. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. I can't say anything negative about it. It was a little pricey but we booked last minute during a long weekend... So I'm not sure we would have found anything else cheaper.
That we couldnt stay longer.
The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The location of the B&B is excellent. It's an easy walk to the historic downtown. Our room was very comfortable.
Friendly, helpful hosts. Lovely grounds.
Allen and Diane the Inn Keepers are wonderful. Breakfast is a wonderful event.
Hosts were very congenial and the communal breakfasts were delicious. Lovely garden to relax and enjoy wine and cheese during the afternoon.
Only one bathroom shared amongst the four of us which we were aware of, but involved a circuitous route through a bedroom to access it.
Allan & Diane were gracious, friendly, interesting and knowledgable hosts. The breakfast was incredible! Our "garden view" room was beautiful ... so much my wife wants to decorate our own bedroom in similar style.
A wee bit pricey, but we're still going back there.
Owner was very helpful with what to do & see in the area and had coupons for different places.
everything! Diane and Alan could not have been nicer. Our room was very clean, decorated nicely and we had a log burning in our room in the fireplace the two nights we stayed-very romantic and cozy. They were very informative about the area and helped us with things to do and how to get there. The breakfasts were delicious and presented beautifully. Very homey and comfortable. We will stay there again if and when we go back to Niagara on the Lake.
The breakfast was poor. Not enough variety. When you stay at a B&B you expect the Breakfasts to be the highlight of the day. There should be more home baked goods (muffins, breads, cookies) not store bought.
manner of proprietor...bordered on being rude with the manner in which rules were communictaed...cerainly did not feel welcome. Breakfast was almost inedible..dry, cold burnt on the bottom frittata..no options..mandated to be ready at 8:30 and then not served until 8:50...argumentative with other guests in our presence...just unpleasant.. unpleasant
Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area!
the rooms were charming, nicely decorated and comfortable. the breakfasts were delicious and varied.
Excellent accomodations. Delicious meals. Beautiful surroundings Within walking distance of many activities. Friendly world wide travelers Many local wineries
