Mediocre living unit
Extremely strong wood smokey fireplace odor.
Really cozy, easy to find, comfy bed, nice and quiet despite being so close to the highway
the cabin was well equiped in the kitchen.had everything we needed.it was clean and comfortable.
the highway, which was close by was a little noisey.
Loved the cottage, it was private, cute, and clean. Just like a house.
Loved everything about our stay, the only thing I didn't like was the smell in the cottage of old burnt wood (as there was a wood fireplace) but I guess that can't be helped ..... some febreze might help though !
Clean room, convenient location
Customer service can be improved.
Mattress needs to be replaced in cottage 6. Very bad night's sleep.Kept falling into the middle of the mattress. Futon for a sofa which was pretty uncomfortable also.
Great location, clean and comfortable. Great kitchen with dishwasher.
Cabin could use a few touch ups like paint the front door and clean around windows a bit other than that Its good value for money spent. I would stay there again.
Basically okay for night but I wouldn't want to go back there.
It is on Cabot Trail. There are a couple of restaurants close by so it's convenient.
The fact that they didn't mention not all cottages are airconditioned. Although we checked in earlier than another family, we were given a non-airconditioned unit. Didn't like the place at all.
just like home
no fire pit outside
sea view, nice lady who runs the site
common basement construction of two neighbouring units causes the floor tremble from neigbour´s activities. Inventory is worn and sticky. Comparing to other cottages we experienced on our travel around Nova Scotia this one had the badest value for money. The cottage we used would benefit from some renovation.
Very clean. 2 bedroom cottage was private and far from the road. Fireplace and kitchen was well stocked with appliances, wood and tools.
good location.Nicely decorated
very small crowded room.
Well-equipped for an overnight stay. Comfortable bed. Allowed early check-in.
Clean. View was great. Spacious
Mildew smell in bathroom. Very basic. Just a place to stop, rest, then leave.
location to Ingonish and national park convenient quiet even though somewhat close to the road large kitchen and full sized fridge large comfortable living room comfortable beds - slept well owners friendly
Musty smell in bedrooms - have to leave fans on high and windows open all day otherwise overpowering - we told owner about it so hopefully will be remedied for the next occupants Black long hairs in bathtub Wood panel flooring coming up in living room and makes noise when you walk across it - noisy for someone trying to sleep in bedrooms outdoor chairs and grill on porch needed cleaning
The hostess is really nice and helpful. The place has a beautiful view facing the ocean. We wish we could stay a few more days!
Beautiful location. Cottages are set back from the road and very quiet. Well equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend for a longer stay in the area.
Fridge didn't work, cold water faucet not working in bathroom, shower head was very low, bedding looked like it was from the 70's. The room had a terrible musty or smoky smell.
We stay here every time we travel to Cape Breton. The staff are friendly, good location.
Nice little cottage. Great BBQ, working fireplace, well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Staff was helpful.
Why would they have an ocean facing cottage blocked by trees and bushes? Most travelers come to see an ocean view. That was a disappointment. Owner was nice but seemed distant. The cleaning staff was very helpful and friendly.
the view was good
very small cottage good for 2 people only.. if you had a third person or even a child it would be to small
Friendly staff, beautiful views, nice and clean rooms
Wifi sometimes is not stable
Location Privacy Welcoming staff View
The cottage was clean, property well kept. The tourist information on places, attractions were well organized into an easy to use booklet including how to link onto WiFi. The kitchenette has all the pots and pans, dishes, pot scrubber and even dish detergent.
Nothing we can think of. We enjoyed our stay and actually cooked
