I liked the cost and it was a convenient location. Had a new bathroom.
New door, carpet and paint job it wouldn't be too bad
Great place with competitive price, very convenience for family since there have slef-catering facilities.
the owners were friendly
the place was dirty
Central location. Friendly owners who were very helpful in giving information we needed.
Guest laundry, lift.
Location meant you need to drive most places.
Run down, no food amenities and not close to coffee/tea shop
The lady at reception was lovely - but that did not make up for my stay.
I expressed concern on noise - I was able to hear absolutely everything in the room above me - over two nights - also traffic and I could also hear the lift. The people above were active all through the night on both nights I stayed there and I was also visited by a mouse!
-Cheap -very clean -excellent staff/owners :) over all if you are just looking for a place to sleep and don't have kids with you then it is fine
-Shower pressure was awful and kept turning freezing cold to burning hot -toilet did not flush properly -our room was right by the elevator which was very noisy making it hard to sleep
it was a good location. The couple were chinese. The female was very helpful. The male tried to be helpful, but could not really speak any english. The elevator was very old. When it stopped on any floor, it was not even with the hall. You either had to step up or down.
The second day we went out about 10am and came back about 3pm Our bed was not even made/ The maid came around 4pm to see if we needed towels. There was no coffee maker, but everything else was in the kitchen.
Friendly helpful staff in this family-run hotel. Good basic accommodation and very clean.
smoking allowed and really reasonable price
elevator a little wonky
location and convenience and helpful staff
Low price and it's vicinity to downtown and the Superstore. This Superstore is the only Superstore which stocks bread from the famous Le Havre Bakery. The room was clean.
The beds were terrible - you could feel every spring. The noise from the freeway was very bad too but we always bring ear plugs so it didn't bother us as much. The wifi was very spotty.
Noisy location. Rooms need renovated. They said there was breakfast and in the am it was coffee, a loaf of bread, and peanut butter !
Well located (better have a GPS to find it!) Minutes from the main attractions (market place, dock, casino...) Staff lady was very helpfull
Clean rooms and friendly staff
The staff warm treatment
Booking was OK
Booking .com did not provide cheapest deal and would not put it righ. Book direct with hotel
cleanliness and poor internet connection
The facility still smells of nicotine. Elevator doesn't work properly. Shower was poor had to have them come twice to shut it off. Beds were clean but extremely uncomfortable.
It was free parking - but for some reason you could not back in (so you could get out in a hurry). No reason given - stupid rule. We got heck and we were just unloading - my goodness. Ugh!
This hotel was in a bad (rough) part of Halifax - did not feel safe going out for a smoke. The room we booked stated it was a queen size bed - they actually had the gall to tell us it was a "small queen" - we looked at the bed and I told him - he could not lie to us - no matter what type of marketing he thought he was using. It was a double bed and that is not what we ordered. They did offer another room for another $50 (the first room was not worth the $75 we paid) but it stank. We went to a store and picked up some fabreez disinfectant and it did help. The elevator was off kilter about 5 to 6 inches (mind you - he did mention that when we checked the room out). But actually lying about the "small queen" - where do people get these stupid ideas from? Oh, my goodness - that was such an insult and we were not impressed. The sheets were very, very thin and overused. We were also told there was a continental breakfast area - again - what were they thinking??? It was a small table for 2 (yes - only one) with a toaster and kettle (I think) - we did not want to stay longer than we had to. It is a fairly large place with about four floors and one table for 2 just to advertise breakfast - oh, my, goodness and a few other well chosen words. Never, never stay there again - will pay the extra finances for a caa approved place. I would strongly recommend removing this hotel from your list of options.
Seasons Motor Inn is a nice place, very clean & they treated us very well. They knew we were here from a different province due to a family member being transfered to the QE II & they did whatever they could to accommodate us. We r very thankful.
They had a few breakfast items in the lobby
We had no room to put our suitcases in the room
The room was simple and basic but clean. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They always greeted us warmly and with a smile. The bed was big and very comfortable. The room had a very clean fridge and oven. It was a basic room, quiet, comfortable and convenient.
