extremely friendly hosts, theme-style b&b, spectacular view of McNabs Island and Halifax, breakfast on the deck
Elaine was a wonderful innkeeper. The décor was full of nautical items and very detailed. The breakfast was served in our room and was very tasty. The view of the harbor coming into the port was excellent!
There was not enough ventilation in the room. It happened to be a hot time of year, there were only a couple of windows that open and a very high ceiling fan. We couldn't get the room cool enough.
Amazing breakfast, quirky nautical theme for bedroom, friendly host
The house is done out in a fantastic way, really amazing to stay in. The location is great.
The water in the taps had a strong sea smell.
The owners are great people , treat you like they have known you for years. You are right on the water and have lots of outdoor space. It is the kind of place you hate to leave. I would recommend the B&B you will have a very nice stay.
We were touring Nova Scotia and New Brunswick for about 2 - 3 weeks and did only stay in B&B places. Sea Watch B&B was one of the best ones we came across. Breakfast super, free WiFi (which is in our country not standard), close to the waterfront and free parking. Our little boat tour with the owners one evening was also a verry special event. Tks. for everything, we'd like to come again.
Having to leave.
The owner is awesome! She is so informative and attentive. The view from our room was beautiful.
The entrance to Halifax harbor is right across the street. Great viewing from the owners pier. Excellent breakfast menu.
Everything. Charming, interesting hosts. Fun place.
POSITION AND THE STAFF.GREAT BREAKFAST PROVIDED.
HOT WATER IN THE SHOWER WAS "LOW"
If you were any closer to the water, you would be in it! Like being on my boat. The location could not be better.
friendly and peaceful atmosphere, run by owner, brilliant breakfast, you eat while watching the boats come in or out, you go to sleep and wake up with a seaview, this is awesome
nothing at all
Quirky decor but not to everybody's taste (not ours anyway). More fundamental problems were the Luke warm water for our morning showers and no basin or bath stoppers. Poor compared to the 8 other b&bs we stayed in in Nova Scotia.
The area is beautiful with a wonderful view of Halifax and the gorgeous water. The food is excellent, and the owners are very friendly and interesting people.
Great place...would recommend to my family and friends. Unique atmosphere and very friendly hosts. Loved it!
Stan and Elaine were friendly and great hosts. The waterside location provided great views.
We couldn't stay longer.
DECOR, AREA AROUND B & B, LOCATION IN RELATION TO HALIFAX-OUT OF THE CITY BUT NOT WAY OUT IN THE COUNTRY.
Great location and incredible value. Would visit again; highly recommended.
Great view of Halifax Harbor, the lighthouse, and out to the ocean. We saw the Queen Mary 2 come into the harbor from the magnificent and relaxing pier in front of SeaWatch. Stan and Elaine were great hosts.
Right on the bay w/a great view. Had a pier to relax on and chill out. Rooms were cute, comfortable and very clean. Women will love how the rooms are decorated. The owner was very helpfully w/ local places to visit type of info and directions. She had a menu to chose breakfast from and wanted to know what time I wanted to eat.
It was a bit of a drive to get to the downtown Halifax area but the view from the pier made up for it.
Everything, the owners Stan and Elaine are fantastic and the views from outside stunning!
