Heather was awesome, I had a accident and needed ice packs and she gave willingly as well as we needed an extra night in ucluelet and Heather helped us with that she is amazing. THANK YOU HEATHER
The parking was not motorcycle friendly. Noise from other rooms can be an issue.
It was so quiet there and still very close to the town. The owner is really nice and even took us by car to the bus station. We had a wonderful stay there.
Location is near 2 Pacific Coach trails. Coffee/tea and (selfservice) breakfast facilities are availble. Own entree and little terrace. Downtown nearby. Just 30 min. from Tofino
Nothing, unfortuanattely the house is for sale, ending of a good B&B.
Proximity of the lodge to the coastal trails; the friendliness of the owner; quiet, serene setting in the woods; lovely room!
Can't think of anything, although it would have been nice to have breakfast included...
Very nice owner
It was more than just a room. There was a lovely outside porch I sat on in the sun to haven tea. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were quality.
Fantastic location. Very comfortable and clean. Friendly local people.
The guest house was very private. We appreciated that it was not dog friendly. The room was very clean and did not smell of wet dog..which we have encountered with pet friendly establishments.
There was nothing we did not like.
close to West Pacific Trail very clean and comfortable helpful host had everything I needed for self catering
I was there to rest and be 'away'from it all however the room I had was actually quite noisy with early am activity starting at 0530 so the much needed rest I did not get!
Fantastic, friendly hosts, really went above and beyond for us! Room was stylish, very clean and well equipped with great little kitchenette. The location was excellent, close to the beach, shops and trails which was particularly good for us as we didn't have a car. The guesthouse is on a very quiet street surrounded by beautiful forest and wildlife all around. By far the best place we've stayed on our two and half month trip!
No negatives at all!
Hank and Heather have an immaculate, high end suite that really felt we were in a high end hotel in a quiet rainforest setting and private yard. The beach is just minutes walk away, as are the shopping, restaurants and community centre. A good, cost effective option for experiencing the west coast in style.
Beautifully designed modern suite with everything you need for a comfortable stay. A short walk to rugged coastline trails and easy access to town. A wonderfully restful spot to rejuvenate!
The owners stopped serving breakfast sometime in 2013 or 2012. Thus, very little interaction except at the check in when we got a quick friendly verbal. Definitely, not a traditional B & B experience.
Literally the comfiest bed I've slept in in my life! Also loved the hot coco / coffee access for rooms saved my life when the weather decided to rain all day. Really close to trail system. Secluded but close to town.
Parking was slightly confusing with multiple guests parking in driveway. Not a big deal though, as driveway is pretty large.
It was a quiet and restful place.
this place exudes relaxation and friendliness. Hank and Heather are great, just let you do your own thing but there if you need help.
Ucluelet can be foggy especially during the month of Faugust but you should know that already coming to the Pacific Coast. Very atmospheric, just get on with it and enjoy.
The owners were very friendly and accommodating, it was a very private location, we didn't even know that there were other guests. I highly recommend staying there if you want the feeling of being at home!
Heather was very friendly, the room was large and facilities were good. Also a lovely short walk from the guest house was a lovely hotel where we had a great meal overlooking the bay while listening to live music.
quiet and comfortable
would have liked a small kitchen
