Beds and breakfast included
old, only shower no tub
- location and grounds
- rooms need to be renovated - not very clean
Staff. wifi availability. Size of room. Availability of appliances. Location. Continental breakfast.
Vertical blinds not closing tightly and strips missing making room not private especially being on the ground level. Carpeting in bedroom old and not clean. Noise at night seems to be coming from vending machines near room. Beds need replacing.
Location was close to a wedding
Untrained staff Disgusting room
Close to job site. Very friendly and helpful staff. Quiet. Comfortable. Reasonably priced.
Garbage not taken away daily. Washroom not cleaned during our stay of 4 nights. We felt their should have been staff in the breakfast room to oversee things especially with the bus loads of kids that were coming through. It was very chaotic trying to get breakfast.
The staff are wonderful and despite the uphill battle to help guests surmount the dilapidation, they remain cheerful. The grounds are lovely, but parking is $5.
The facility is *very* tired and has zero amenities - a working TV remote control is a lucky stroke of luxury (TVs are pre-millennium econo CRT units). No utensils or plates in kitchenette. Chairs and fixtures dirty, discolored, broken. Bed comfort is very poor. Vending machines do not accept foreign credit cards. This is a 40 year old operating college dorm and you are renting a room that is unoccupied that evening. Walls are exposed bare concrete. Busloads of young/foreign students storm the breakfast bar at opening. Breakfast is "edible" Had to throw away one nights' charge and check out the next morning.
Inexpensive. Free breakfast. Fridge and cooking facilities available. Close to Canada's Wonderland.
Paid parking. Uncleanliness of rooms. Poor water pressure and temperature in the shower. No lamps in bedrooms. They were unable to provide extra blankets when it was cold at night.
For us the location was ideal. Close to Wonderland and other things we had planned.
Smoky room, double bed a bit small, queen size would be better, worn out carpeting, faucets, basically the inside appearance can be a deterrent for many. It's in need of major renovation so you don't feel like you're staying in a cheap motel.
The complimentary breakfast was fine.
This is a no more than a dorm room. No frills. The beds are slightly bigger than a twin bed. And forget about air conditioning. There is none. Towels are thin and small. Also, you have to pay to park. Ridiculous.
You have to pay extra for parking, The floors throughout the building and rooms are very dirty, and I booked a room for 4 but I was only given two towels and one of those towels had something sticking to it (very gross!!). When I tried calling to get a new towel and more towels nobody was answering. Also the "air conditioning" is just a fan not cold air. All in all it was a terrible place to stay and not at all worth any money!
The continental breakfast was above average. The people who stayed there were amazing! Canada's Wonderland Cirque acrobats stay there! They are the best group of people! All in all the best value around the area to stay at.
Had to ask for clean towels.
cleanness and quiet.
price little high and lack of kitchen-aid.
- Location was easy to find - Room was big, and bed was comfortable - Breakfast was super convenient with a decent variety
- Inconvenient payment for parking... Have to pay daily at the gait with credit card is less than ideal; also if you left multiple times a day you needed to get your parking pass verified at the front desk - My room was facing the common area outside, and at night was very loud
Can't beat the price and it included breakfast. Close to Canada's Wonderland. Enjoyed being able to BBQ. Large fridge in the room.
The breakfast was not bad for the price Good place for a quiet and relaxing gateway
The location is a bit off every interest No swimming pool
Walking trails, tv with decent channels, breakfast with a good variety, kitchen facilities as well as laundry facilities, walking trails, staff most definitely!
toilet paper, I guess I am used to better quality, haha
cheap, easy to find.
location close to golf course for wedding reception
the lights in our room .one was full of dead bugs.the bottom of one bed had a large stain that looked like blood
I liked that you got two rooms with a double or queen size bed in each one and a shared bathroom. I liked that it had it's own kitchen including a full size fridge. I liked that it was located in a rural setting with no noise at all but still very close to everything including minutes from Canada's Wonderland. I liked that it included a continental breakfast and a couple of games rooms and lounges where the kids could play pool. fooseball or video games when it rained.
there was really nothing I didn't like. It could have been fancier I guess and it would have been nice to have a restaurant on sight but really it was very nice and very budget friendly and felt safe and clean.
