I liked the price and the place was fairly quiet. The campus is beautiful. The bed was so hard I got a backache after 3 days. I didn't like that there was no coffee available in the dorms and we had to wait till 8:30 for the cafeteria to open which was past the time I had to be at the conference. Also the first night I was freezing and the only remedy was a foam blanket. After I left there I stayed in a studio apartment in Burnaby, with comfortable bed, tv, and full kitchen, for $50 a night. For the price sfu was not worth it.

Location. Townhouse was within walking distance of conference. Kitchen facility. Spacious. The place was pretty run down with wholes in the walls, old appliances and ragged curtains. Not clean. Stains on furniture and walls. I was expecting more for the price. No wireless was another issue. The bed was very uncomfortable - 4 inches of hard foam on a wooden frame.

Very clean and friendly. The walls are a little thin so you can hear everything going on in and around the neighboring rooms
