The staff had my room ready, early, on the 33rd floor as I requested a higher room and they had no problem fulfilling my wishes. Extra towels and robes were delivered just minutes after I requested them. My view was gorgeous, beautiful floor to ceiling windows. The beds were clean, and comfortable, with fluffy pillows! The pool, jacuzzi and sauna was an excellent plus!! The Concierge was helpful, friendly and made my first stay in Vancouver very memorable! The hotel had a PERFECT location, near shops, night life, restaurants (please visit "Capital Grill" on Davie street) few blocks from Main Street shopping, and the train to the sky rail! Everything right at your fingertips. Whether your visiting for a week, or a day, on business or for pleasure this hotel will make sure you feel welcomed, comfortable, and like royalty.
room had no seating (couch) or a table - just a bed.
Location by Robson and in centre of downtown View from 27 floor
Drapes falling down, door falling off fridge cabinet and vibrating, got an adjoining room though requested to not have one, my key to elevator would not take me to spa level so i came to main lobby twice in my robe and staff couldnt fix it. Stained wallpaper in bathroom by mirror. No bill at door to review and for quick check out. My bill says 2 people when only one. Temperature in room hard to control.
It's right downtown
Upon check in I was told my visa didn't work so she kept trying to run it trough, I had to pay a deposit in debit. I immediately called visa who said every attempt DID go through. My room which looked NOTHING like the photos! was NOT cleaned until I complained st 9pm the housekeeping told meyou DNA sign was on the door IT HAD NOT. When I complained ALL services were then blocked no room service or movies! Instead of fixing the issue front desk argued with me. Starwood head office even did nothing!
Everyone was very friendly and we had a great room with a super comfortable bed.
We ordered some sorbet for dessert from room service. They didn't bring us any spoons, and when I called to ask for some, they did not understand and asked if we wanted to order something else. Also, the room service button on the phone did not work.
room was very nice, checkin lady was excellent
lounge and resturant are not very inviting!! Needs better atmosphere to keep people there
The kings size bed was amazing!! Of course the view is unbelievable....made the whole experience!!
The internet connection was terrible. When I spoke to IT support, they were not very helpful (I gave up anyway). Also...on the Sat night, we could hear several people in the room right below ours. They were having a party....could hear their conversation!!
The hotel was very clean and the staff very helpful and courteous
There was a 4 inch long spider in my room on the 20th floor- bigger than spiders I've seen in the rainforests of Thailand and Brazil. Pubic hairs on the bed and bathroom. When asked for clean bedding I got attitude from staff. Walls are paper thin. Neighbors were up partying loudly all night. When you call guest relations they say they don't know what to do. Not worth the money. This place was disgusting.
Lovely bedroom and beautifully furnished. Great swimming pool.
Rather vast and long walks to swimming pool etc
The view and balcony were perks. The pool was a nice little place for the kids to swim and relax. Area was interesting I watch.
The area for me was too busy. I think I'd have preferred something in an area not right downtown where we could walk to the beach. Also the parking was atrocious! $40/day after taxes. That surprised me. I'll have to find another place next time because of that.
Elevators back up at times.
All of it
arrogant stuff (partially) only cold water for the shower in the morning available wishes regarding room floor and distance to the elevator were not respected
the room is too small; services is slow
What I liked most was the friendly, helpful staff. They made us feel important and welcome. Also, everything seemed to work well. We had no real problems and the room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. It was nice to come back to at night. And, of course, the view was spectacular.
Well, even though we were very well treated when we checked in, there was a bit of a problem actually getting a room, which had been booked and confirmed ahead of time. I believe we were being upgraded but, I couldn't help but feel there may have been some kind of a problem ie, our room had been given away, since it seemed to be quite a problem to get booked in. And, although there were two of us booked into the room there were only amenities for one ie bath robe. One other thing worth mentioning was what I gathered is supposed to be something to do with your "green" program. If I understand it correctly we had the option of having the room cleaned and tidied every day or, instead, receive a $5.00 voucher to be used in the hotel. I gathered this was per day, however, we received only one voucher during the 3 day visit. That aside, I think I would have preferred the room to be attended to every day. And, finally, the Parking Valet Service which, I must say was handled very well - no complaints there. However, I understood the charge was to be $33.00 per day but, when I received my e-mail copy of the bill, Valet Parking was charged at $41.93 per day. Not sure what that is all about. Despite these comments I would stay at the Sheraton Wall again.
Missed having a restaurant at our location. The Internet connections wouldn't hold or would kick us off, which made us have to sign in multiple times or go to the service desk for help!! :(
Great atmosphere and Location. Staff was very kind.
Took to long to check in , since Room was not ready. Parking can improve signaling.
The staff, so helpful and friendly, Grace O'Connor checked us in and it was just the perfect start to a wonderful 4 days. Thank you.
We would have liked to stay longer.
nice location, very close to town. helpful staff.
parking is too far away from one of the tower
Easy access to lots of restaurants and shopping malls
No unpaid movie channels
Friendly staff Concierge, Jose - there is nothing this man doesn't know about Vancouver Location
Excellente location, close to everything...staff was very helpful...
They could have make better lobby and fourniture. Internet wasn't free...the little shop pretty expensive...never buy stamps there.
Helpful staff. Room luvly. The bed and pillows wonderful so comfortable, best sleep I had all holiday.
A long wait in line for breakfast, all was a bit slow. Not a complaint just constructive criticism.
Option of no service and voucher offered towards food.
No vending machines for drinks.
