Sidney Waterfront Inn  

room was very good size. Quite location. Good Restraurants close by.

Nice and quiet, Easy to access. All the staff were very pleasant.

The attractive seaside village of Sidney, so close to Victoria airport, was a real surprise. Our room overlooked the water and was very spacious, including the bathroom. The electric fireplace was a plus too. I had expected the typical low-amenity and industrial environment near most major airports. So the Inn and village were a real treat. Nice restaurants and shopping too! Will stay longer next time.

Sidney is quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this location.

Room needed some updating, bathroom was updated. Wanted sea view instead of street.

Great to smell the sea air when walking to the Inn. Great boardwalks just outside your door to walk and explore the waterfront. The beds were so comfortable and the room was a great size for 3 adults. Very helpful staff passing on communication to guests when necessary

The eating area was quite small and limited selection...fruit packaged not freshly available. Good that they provided Almond Milk not many gluten free options.

Location was nice. Rooms were clean.

Bed was uncomfortable. Sheets and towels were well worn. Holes were in the sheets.loud noises in parking lot at 3:30 am. Think it was cleaners from the restaurant

The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. They gave us a water view room when we asked if we could change and made every effort to let us stay the 2 nd night in the same room. They succeeded and we were very happy. We came back with some wine and the gentleman at the desk at the time saw us and asked if we would like some wine glasses for our room. The continental breakfast was very nice. Even the cleaning staff was friendly. We will definitely be back!

No balcony on room available

Location is fantastic with views out to the ocean. Room was bright and very comfortable. In room coffee (Canterbury) was very good. Also loved the fact that we could take breakfast to our room and enjoy it on our seaside balcony.

A few cooking smells drifting from nearby restaurant into our room but not enough to deter us from coming back again. Breakfast buffet adequate but a few pastries or muffins would have been nice (instead of toast). Breakfast room is a bit dark and confining so it was nice to be able to take breakfast up to our room.

Location to the ferry, docks for strolling & enjoying the view.

If I would have known I'd have upgraded to a room that faces the water! Know better for next time (and would definitely stay there!)

Friendly staff, great location next to the water and within walking distance of everything you need in Sidney. Also a quick drive to the airport.

Breakfast selection is fairly limited (and there seems to be a fascination with raisins).

It would be nice if they enforced a no smoking policy in all areas. Allowing smoking on the patios means you can't leave your windows open.

The Bed and Pillows were the best I have ever slept on at a hotel, They were really comfortable

I loved having the little kitchenette in the room, How ever when the fridge came on at 1am it woke me up.

The bed was comfortable. The desk staff carried my suitcase upstairs for me. Super nice.

The hallway had a funny smell to it. It smelled like an old hotel that had been given a facelift. The cream was sour in my coffee so I just got another one out of the fridge. No biggie.

Our room was clean and comfortable; all the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were located on the top (second) floor with a spectacular view of the ocean and Mount Baker. We were pleasantly surprised to find that a continental buffet breakfast, as well as parking were included in the price of the room. This is the perfect place for anyone wanting a quiet, romantic get-away. Sidney has some very interesting boutiques as well as several excellent bookstores. We're recommending it to all our friends and we'll definitely be back!

There was nothing at all to dislike!

We liked the friendliness of the young man who checked us in! He was attentive and courteous!! We liked the cont. BKFST. They kept it so tidy and stocked up. We liked that no-one knocked on our door for anything.

We liked that it was in a great location, it was quiet,clean and very comfortable.

Water pressure in the shower was a trickle, otherwise very clean place.

The friendly and helpful staff, the location, the price, the continental breakfast, the room (being able to open our window), the check-in and check-out.
