Overlooking the bay of Tadoussac, this Quebec hotel is minutes from the Interpretation Center of Marine Mammals. The hotel offers tickets and a free shuttle service to whale watching tours.
Score from 66 reviews Good
This guesthouse located in Tadoussac, Quebec, is a 7-minute walk to the Saguenay-St. Lawrence Marine Park. This charming hotel offers a full breakfast and each room is uniquely styled.
Score from 91 reviews Good
Located in the heart of Sacré-Coeur, this inn is 15 minutes' drive from Tadoussac. A fully equipped kitchen is available for guest use as well as free in-room Wi-Fi.

Located on the convergence of the Saguenay River and the Saint Lawrence River, this Tadoussac motel provides whale watching tickets through Croisières 2001.
Score from 166 reviews Good
Very nice hotel with very polite and courteous staff (they organized the whale whatching tour for us and also the ferry to cross the river in Godbout). We had a room in the first floor with a panoramic view to Tadussac and Saint Lawrence River.
Clean and new rooms, nicely decorated The shared kitchen facility
The hotel is on a hill overlooking the Saint Lawrence river, Saguenay Fjord, and Tadoussac. With a good pair of binoculars and a river view room with balcony, I was able to glimpse whales. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and the kitchen facilities are good enough to make tea/coffee and snacks.
Hotel has very good location near town center, with a beatiful view over the bay. There is a small kitchen so you can cook and save some money.
The room was small and very clean and quiet. The staff were helpful and friendly and very accommodating. A small kitchenette was very nice. Our minimal French and their minimal English seemed to get the job done. The hotel was easy to find. Just look for the cross on the hill; the hotel is under it. If at all possible get a room on the third floor facing the water.
Perfect classic style hotel with a great view over a small town and bay well known for whale sighting.
It would not suite someone looking for dynamic night life and modern style.
The place is clean and comfortable. The staff are as helpful as they can be even though I speak little french. They always had a smile on their face Good value for money with a great view of the hills and river
Very very clean room and helpful staff. Nice wood trim everywhere, cozy. Great view from front of building. Wifi a bit weak for streaming but still ok. The kitchenette was great, and also very clean.
A little far to walk to town, but do-able. Only thing is having to pay with coins for coffee, wish there was an option other than Keurig!!! Having 3,00$ in change is not always something you have on you. No other coffeemaker on site, would have brought our own grounds just to have a decent cup of coffee in the morning. Do not like all the waste and trash generated by Keurigs either. Overall a great place, especially for the price.
Helpful, kind and, accommodating staff. Excellent kitchen facilities and outdoor areas. Wash and dry load for 5$. Had top floor room and from balcony saw whales in bay (through binoculars). Lovely views across town and bay.
Quite, steep hill up from town. Terrible traffic noise from lorries,accelerating/breaking on busy highway alongside hotel.
Located on top of the hill, the hotel is easy to access from the boat after crossing. It is preferable to go to the city center by car. Rooms are clean.
Furniture quiet old and small rooms.
View from the hotel is terrific. He walk up the hill from the center of town is a steep one but well worth. Rooms were comfortable.
Clean and practical. The well equipped kitchenette with all the supplies. Location is also good. Very friendly easy going staff made our stay very comfortable.
No fan in the bath room.
Fantastic views. Able to whale watch with binoculars from the balcony. Washing machines available to use.
Steep walk back from town. Difficult for elderly or buggies. Staff speak no English but we managed with our little French!
We had great time in Tadoussac. The hotel was very nice located, very clean and the amenities were great. We loved having breakfast outside and take in the awesome view of the fjord and Saint Laurent river. We hope one day we'll come back.
It was a mix up with the rooms, but in the end the receptionist was very accomodating and everything was fine.
- Staff is friendly and helpful - WiFi easy to use - Location close to all facilities - Room was very clean
- Very small room for 2 double beds - too close to highway (noisy) - beds were very squeaky, hard to sleep - walls paper thin, could hear neighbor snore
The view of the town and St. Lawrence River was nice from the front of the hotel outside sitting area.
The room we stayed in felt like a bedroom of a house rather then a hotel room, even though the bathroom was big. There was a big language barrier as well, hopefully everything goes smooth or you could have trouble.
We were not warned by Bookings.com or on the website that our room would be in the basement, with a common kitchen and living room for six bedrooms. Bed needed a new mattress and the pillows were terrible.
The room was very clean. Check in was smooth and pleasant. The front desk person was very friendly and helpful.. We are Americans with only basic french, and she spoke only limited English, but we muddled through just fine. The wifi was very good where we were situation, but we were near the office.
Our room was very hot even though it was cool outside. There was no cross ventilation and the window was small and only opened on one side. As others have commented, it's pretty ridiculous to be charging $1.50 for a cup of coffee, especially when you're paying $150 for the room with tax.
Just a hostel without service. A small bed, locked windows, seems like a prison cell. We could not find any persons in the reception during the stay. There is a kind of smell in the room. They cannot understand English from the call provided! I would never, never choose this any more.
Location was good, quiet, easy to work with, clean.
The reservation was incorrect and getting a response was slower. This maybe a language issue
The unfriendly attitude of the staff and picky nature of paying for tea or coffee. It's expected up to a point but certainly not for every cup.
We loved the friendliness of the staff. The hotel was very clean and was perfectly located. There was a communal kitchen that was well equipped and up to the renters to take care of. Everyone was respectful and helpful. Although the room was a bit small it was great for the 3 nights that we stayed in Tadoussac. Our bathroom was equipped with a washer and dryer. Great bonus when traveling with a family.
One of the beds squeaked a lot whenever you rolled over.
Location is good easy to find, people who were guest there were pleasant. It is a good value for the money if you don't mind small rooms (but who wants to stay in the room on vacation).
Cleaning lady! There was an envelope there for tips for cleaning which I put together with other papers. The first day of cleaning, cleaning person went thru my papers to find it to display it prominently on the dresser. The next day when I left money she cleaned the room but still didn't change towels even when I indicated that I need new ones. Next day I didn't leave her money and she didn't even make my bed. I don't go on vacation to be pestered by cleaning staff! Next time I will try another hotel.
Free wifi. View from balcony. Sitting on balcony.
On noisy main road. Small bathroom. Poor shower. No shampoo. No coffee maker in room, having to pay to make own coffee in common kitchen. No table on balcony.
Room with balcony: great view of the river
Small room, no breakfast included
