Great atmosphere, guest ranch with horses around, beautiful grounds, very well kept western-style hotel with very clean rooms.

L’environnement immédiat est assez joli et tranquille. Les chambres sont joliment décorées à l'anglaise. Sur l'autre rive de la rivière, passent l’autoroute et le chemin de fer qui sont beaucoup moins romantiques. Le petit déjeuner est excessivement limité et indigne d'un hôtel canadien. Les matelas sont usés et devraient être remplacés. En général, l'hôtel donne au premier abord une impression de luxe qui ne se confirme pas à l'usage. Par ailleurs, l'hôtel est isolé et loin de Kamloops, ce qui ne donne pratiquement aucune autre alternative que le restaurant de l'hôtel.

Situation géographique : bonne étape entre Whisler et Jasper. Agréable temps d'arrêt près de la Thompson River. Confortable, Dommage que la route et la voie ferrée viennent au loin parfois perturbée ce havre de paix.
