Great location and beautiful spacious rooms with comfortable beds and nice kitchenette.

Seemed understaffed. Breakfast food could not keep up with demand. Only one person at front desk and answering phone.

The friendliness of the staff - they were delightfully helpful. The location - steps away from everything I wanted to do and see. The comfort - best nights sleep in any hotel, ever. Comfortable beds and down pillows were heavenly. Breakfast - delicious and abundant Room size - comfortable and spacious for 4 people.

I honestly and truly could not find one single thing to be disappointed with. I won't even look for another hotel when next I visit Montreal.

Room was much smaller than depicted. Booking.com personnel confirmed that the room was for 3 and staff wanted to charge a fee for 3rd person. Hotel staff could have been more knowledgeable about area.

This is a pretty basic, but nice, clean hotel. The staff, location and price are what really make this place stand out. I was going for a weekend w/ my girlfriends, and wanted a good location in Old Montreal but not to break the bank. The staff were wonderful - they let us check in early and, because I had mentioned it was my birthday, they sent up complimentary chocolate truffles and two little bottles of iced cider, with a note. This was a nice, welcoming touch one would not expect from a pretty basic hotel like this. I really liked having the couch and small sitting area in our room - it was bigger than I expected. The hot breakfast was fine.

The pool is really tiny.

I had cancelled my reserveration that i had initially made as it seemed like we would be unable to go away this weeked. In the end the trip was happening so I called the hotel and asked to get thier $250 a night special, were it inclused valet parking and $25 a night in gift cards as well. I had asked it there was a balcony room available still (as it was when I first booked the trip) and it was. We got to the hotel and booked in. I was informed the balcony suite was no longer available but they 'had a spectacular room for us regardless'. When we got to our room, it was probably 10x12 in size. Nothing 'spectacular' at all. Anyhow we rested up and left the hotel 2 - 3 hours later and our car was still in the hotel drive up. I wasn't to worried being the front desk could see it but after the room being as it was, well it didn't really impress me considering we're spending $250 a night. Anyhow, Sunday morning comes and we wake early and decide to go for a swim, being the hotel has an indoor pool. We go down to the pool and well, that was really the size of the room we were staying in, no exageration. (The hot tub fit one person.) Again, didn't impress me much at all. The rest of the weekend was uneventful. They did offer a great little buffet breakfast. On the Monday we were checking out, expecting my bill to be $575 max with the movie we rented for $20, It ended up being $615. FOR TWO NIGHTS.... It's unfortunate, but hey - my experience with "The Marriott". Terrible considering I don't mind paying that kind of money if I'm getting that kind of quality. Don't think I'll ever do it again and will not have our travel deptartment book me in there either.

The location could not have been better, right in the heart of Old Montreal. As tourist, we were centrally located to get the Hop on Hop off bus, right by the pier for a boat tour and had many excellent restaraunts with that European flavor within walking distance. The hotel staff were friendly and very accomodating. Breakfast was substantial and vaired for the 3 mornings we were there. My husband and I were travelling with our 3 daughters in their 20's - it was the perfect setting. We would definitly stay here again.

We were very satisfied with the accomodations. Nothing that we didn't like.

Location and very roomy and clean

The facility was very comfortable and the location was great. We really enjoyed the breakfast and would definately go there again.

My only minor complaint was the room was not thoroughly cleaned between nights.

Situation géographique exceptionnelle. Propre, agréable, confortable et calme. Excellent rapport qualité prix pour une ville comme Montréal. Déjeuner inclus!

Proximité

La télévision ne fonctionnait pas. çA sentait très mauvais dans la chambre. Nous nous sommes fait réveillé 2 fois par les femmes de chambres ou personnel de l'hôtel qui cognaient à la porte (une fois avant de glisser notre facture sous la porte et une autre fois pour savoir si nous étions encore là...). Manque de goût, pas remis au goût du jour... Aurait besoin de rénovation, décoration...

La chambre était propre spacieuse et confortable .

l'entrée en auto a l'hotel n'est pas très grand ne peu acceuillir plus de 2 a 3 véhicules a la fois.
