The staff was real friendly and very accomodating
It rains too much in the winter. (not in the hotel though
Clean and quiet. Large DVD selection
No free electrical outlets and no way of making just hot water (for tea)
when I was taking the shower, the water sometimes is very hot sometimes is very cold. OMG,it is terrible.
staff friendly and good location free parking and not expensive. ok for one night
room very basic, and small lack of electrical outlets no outlets in bathroom and all other outlets in use,tv on the fridge and small tray for putting their coffee maker on.
Stuff are super nice and helpful, excellent location and very nice and clean room.
The room was right above the bar and it was Friday. Around 11 pm some really loud music started playing, which lasted until 2 am. We had been informed about it, so we cannot complain, we just didn't know how loud it would be.

The room was exactly as the photo indicated. Very tastefully renovated room given that the property is over 100 years old! Comfortable bed, quiet on the east facing side, and felt very safe and secure. Nice guest laundry! Great energy in downtown Squamish! Recommend!
Wifi wasn't terribly fast, but always there. The tv, while a large flat screen, could use a repair or replace (verticle lines on viewing screen).
The hotel atmosphere was very much like at home. Quiet & peacefull.Your code for entering after hours was very unique. I enjoyed your selection of DVD's . I will send you some more for your guests.
The shower controls were very hard to adjust. The toilet needs more water pressure plus a Toilet Plunger available for emergencies.
location in center of town good price very clean helpful attentive stall comfortable room and amenities
Some of the rooms are just above a noisy and crowded bar, despite some comments to the countrary.
Good location. The room and the bed were quite big and everything was very neat. Kind and friendly staff, she gave us helpful tips.
It was noisy and didn't have an elevator.
A remodeled room, great staff, central location, off street parking, good cable TV, has a bar downstairs, I did not go there, also has a liquor store
No heat in room to speak of had to get them to give me an oil filled radiator type heater, it did warm the room up great.
I found the front desk clerk very friendly and informative. The room was very quiet too considering it was above a bar. The tea, coffee, etc. was a nice touch even though I didn't use them.
Convenient location and friendly staff
Good price for Canada Close to Stawamus Chief Good restaurants nearby Laundry for free
Small room No breakfast
Location is perfect, holding up prior to ferry ride to Vancouver Island. Didn't want to stay in Vancouver, but wanted to see Whistler coming over the Duffy lake road (a must do). Howes Bay Brewery easy walk. Kite surfers at end of nice nature walk, worth the walk. Free clothes washer and dryer. Thanks for taking care of me.
This is not the Hilton, but a perfect throwback hotel for my traveling style.
The way they were sincerely apologetic for their error and gave us the room the next night without charge. Helpful recommendations from friendly staff. Tasteful decor.
The fact they had not allocated us a room for the first night although they had received our booking. We had to stay in very poor accommodation elsewhere.
Staff wonderful. Liked having a window to open and our room, 115. Room smelled clean, (but another we looked at had a bad smell). Having hard floors that can be mopped is very good. Location very good.
Lighting could be improved. Was not sure how lean the comforter was. A clean blanket would be nicer, than using the comforter all use. (I don't expect the cover is washed daily???) Sheets dingy. Leaky faucet in the tub was concerning, as gallons of water are constantly being wasted, and it appears that this drip has gone on for a long time as the tub enamel has been worn off by the drip. Does not go with your "environmentally friendly" statements. We felt safe, but more safe when there is a staff person in the building all night. Hope these comments are helpful for your success, as it is a great property.
cleanliness. staff were very helpful
Not enough furniture in the room and being right on a busy street it was very noisy..Our room 110 was facing the street.
a little old
Easy to find and convenient location in near downtown squeamish. Room was inviting and everything was clean. Mini fridge and complimentary coffee with pot were nice touches, as were the iPod dock and shelf of DVD's to borrow, though we didn't use the latter. Recommend paying the small extra cost for a room away from the bar as we heard NO bar noise in our room but could hear it in the hallway above the bar. Staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful.
The hot/cold water in the shower was abut finicky and would sometimes suddenly turn super hot or cold for no apparent reason.
The staff member I spoke to was so rude and insulting I opted out of staying there.
- we did not hear the subscribed sound of the bar :) - free parking
- it was very warm in the room during the night (big window, but you can only open a small part of it)
Staff were friendly. Room was clean. The noise I was warned about turned out to only be small problem on Saturday night, no problem at all the rest of the nights. Would stay there again.
rooms were super clean and cute. reminded me of a nice guest bedroom at home: clean simple nice and inviting. We were there for 4 nights. And we honestly didn't hear that much noise... atleast where our room was. we heard the odd thing from some other rooms, and of course people in hallway. But non-the-less it was seldom. I love the soaps, and there eco friendliness. basically good deal for what you pay for.
I think a small suggestion but it has nothing to do with service or anything. but I think what would make a huge difference presentation wise would be to remove the large dressers and replace it with a floating shelf for the t.v. or wall mount it. and for the dresser replace it with a small simple on, with just enough room for the coffee pot etc :). but this isn't negative. haha. just a little suggestion. I think it would make the room feel bigger
