Ann - night staff - picked me up at airport, and was very friendly and helpful back at the hotel as well helping me find my room etc. Breakfast sandwich at the restaurant was yummy, as was the beef dip at the lounge.
The Casino was close..
The toilet keep running every now and then in the middle of the nite. I thought I had booked in the Mission and not beside the Casino. Our stay was not too romantic..
Great staff, good facilities , nice room.
Very friendly staff.
The staff in the hotel were excellent. Right from check in thru to check out. The dining room and lounge had excellent food. A bit pricey in the dining room but well worth it once the food arrived. We will definitely return.
It is alittle bit out of the way, but once you arrive, it is a nice quiet location.
Could not fault anything. The hotel has bags of character and the grounds are beautiful.
This isn't a fault as such. The hotel is a little bit too far out of the centre of Cranbrook.
We have stayed here 3 or 4 times. Always pleasant. This time was accented by our winning a sizable jackpot in the casino. Thank you. My wife and I think the resort was named after me.
All around a great place to stay, lots to do and see, food is great, rooms are comfy and nicely decorated.
Friendly staff from front desk, servers, cleaning staff
Front steps makes awkward to bring in luggage to lobby
Really enjoyed the time we spent there with our friends. Liked everything, the food was great and the rooms were very comfortable.
The yard is landscaped very nice. Our room was very comfortable with a balcony facing the courtyard.
I made our reservation on Booking.com & was quoted $139/night. When I paid, I was charged $179 for the 2nd night as the 'system' automatically adjusts the price based on occupancy. The desk clerk did adjust my bill when I brought it to her attention, however I'm sure there's others that wouldn't notice this until later. Also the lack of a nice restaurant in the building was a bit inconvenient.
The rooms are spatious , beds are confortable , staff very professiobal and friendly . The restaurant and food excellent - very good value for the money .
It's a bit out of town but worth it, in the sense it's a one-stop location; they have restaurants, golf & the casino, so essentially you don't have to leave the facility. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was excellent, great comfortable bed.
Bring lots of cash for the casino if you gamble. You won't have to fight off anyone for a seat, unfortunately, the place is dead. Possibly, no wonder as it was not paying anything out. It eats up your money fast and furious. Our Blackjack dealer won 11 times in a row, paid out a few, then proceeded to win the next 17 rounds, hmmm makes you wonder don't it!
Nice staff, clean and comfy.
Room not ready at check in time. Waited about an hour. Our room overlooked the building not the mountains as promised.
Very friendly, but very busy staff at the reception and bar area. Beautiful garden area. The location is awesome.
Hotel and furniture has seen better days, replacements/renovations should be considered. (My bed made noises with every small move I made like it will fall apart underneath me...scary) We booked a non-smoking room but apparently the people before us didn't as the smell was still in the room and the matches were waiting for the next user at the window. (Housekeeping?) There is a need of better clarification where hotel guests as well as golfers are allowed to park...it's no fun to carry/pull your luggage up the stairs or over a partly paved hill from the outer parking lot while golfers do park right next to the entrance.
The restaurant waitress was great; very knowledgeable and friendly. Our meal [prime rib] was fantastic. The gardens were beautiful. The architecture of the mission building is wonderful; really enjoyed reading the history below the photos.
Perfect place for a resort destination wedding. Great food. Spectacular mountain backdrop.
The flowers in the landscape were very pretty. When we got there it was set up for a wedding. I could see how it would be a great setting. The pictures about the history of the mission made the stay even more interesting, even though our stay was just for one night.
I expected the food to be a little better. The breakfast was good, but the nachos the night before were not.
the food the casino
the noise the room has absolutely no view just a cement wall
Lovely historic setting
Service for drinks in Casino was poor!
Great resort but wall are thin and can hear everything aroubd resort!
Excellent facility and love the grounds etc.
Only one complaint, bed was not that comfortable.
Service was impeccable!! Grounds and golf course very nice, beautiful flowers. Food was good . Enjoyed our experience.
