A nice room
Room was cold and there is no extra blankets.
Only good thing was the wifi
Very cold room - heating not good at all, room not clean, staff attitude sucks, had to complain to get clean bedding, bathtub very dirty.small fridge was very dirty, floors in the room dirty.total waste of money
Economical, very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly.
Pillows on the bed were great...had a reasonably new TV and the shower was hot!
Room was really out of date-outdated furniture, facilities, décor /had a replacement door and there was a cap under the door that we could see daylight-we asked for a towel to stop the -26 degree cold from blowing in. Whoever painted the room didn't even slightly know what taping off means! Parking was terrible.
Free wifi and good connectivity. Close to tim hortans and city 5-6 kms. Clean room and bathroom.
With all the facilities and locations, if the hotel was charging $10 less, would have been the best place to stay.
Room was clean, and smelled good. Also liked that it was right across the street from a timmies, so convenient for breakfast in the morning. All in all a decent little place,,,reasonably priced. Remember...you get what you pay for. K & E Hill Kitchener ON
Right off the bat, parking ..or lack there of, was an issue. Others parking in front of your door, and no enforcement.Park where you can they said. Also, there was a hole in the wall as we walked in, that i reported, as well the bathroom door was stuck in the locked position. if the door had been closed , one would be locked in there unless you broke in. All they said was "im sorry" nice enough staff..but you get what you pay for.
I like the flat screen TV they had for the queen room. I was at the motel to watch superbowl with my girlfriend. We had a great time. The room was very clean.
The motel is great for it's price. The room was relatively big, with a nice bathroom, comfortable bed, tv, etc. The staff was also very kind. There is a Tim Hortons and a Shoppers right in front of it, and it is also near a shopping mall and a movie theater
It is a little far from downtown Ottawa, but there is a bus stop right in front of the motel. The room was cleaned every morning, but the floor had something greasy on it.
* the price as we were staying only one night * came quickly to replace light bulb and fix tv
* extremely noisey * dust on the upper part of the lamps *telephone handle covered in something sticky * couldn't turn the heat down *would not return
A lot: could not control the heating system in the rooms; malfunctioning sockets......
Oriental Restaurant next door was very good. In fact a variety of good eating within walking distance. Went to a movie two blocks away. Away from congestion of city centre. Overall it was good value for the money.
Room was small. Antenna TV picture was snowy. Soap was like sandpaper. Some mold in bathroom. Close to road traffic noise.
the closeness as to where I had to go also the clerk was very helpful
the toilet was too close to the left wall and it seemed to loosely bolted to the floor
Close to shops and restaurants. Cheap. Beds were clean.
Too hot to sleep(even turn off the heater). Bath tub look old. No Wifi at night.
location was good. Staff was helpful.
The bathroom was dirty. The room was poorly isolated.Heat not working proper.
The room smelled of cigarette smoke and was not very clean. It was just sufficient for one night.
If you're not fussy and you're looking for a great little budget motel, this is the one. Ask for a quiet room around the back - the front rooms are right on the street and noisy if you're a light sleeper.
Wi-fi basically nonexistent.
staff hospitality was very good plus considering the amount i paid the place was good enough it felt like home and safer.
no bed and breakfast
Clean well equipped room
Too close to busy road
Cheap, close to restaurants and shops
Tired, poor cleanliness, not comfortable
Friendly staff Clean Close to food and such for almost anything. Shower was clean and big enough to actually wash your hair without bumping elbows on the walls. Beds were pretty comfy, and plenty of pillows.
Parking lot is tight even for a car.
The location, for our purposes, was excellent. It was quiet and the staff are friendly. The satelite tv is adequate for an overnight stay and having a fridge and microwave in the room made it easy to have evening and morning snacks (there's a Timmies right across the street!)
The motel is old and a wee bit run down, although the owners seem to be doing some work around the place. The neighbourhood is not one of Ottawa's best; however, we did not run into any problems. Some screens on the windows would have been nice as the room was very hot and stuffy.
The cheapest hotel near Ottawa, although expensive....
Old motel near street. Good If you just want to spend a night but nothing more. It was the cheaper In Ottawa.
Very clean and close to everything
The wifi was excellent. It was clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy, but it had everything I wanted, and it was clean. Excellent value for the money.
