Good price, a bit of a walk to the beach but not too far, and free wifi is always nice to have.
There are certain standards that have to be counted for in an established motel business. Holes in the wall and non up to date plumbing shouldn't be happening.
The space in the room The seperate bedroom The full size fridge Huge bathroom Full Kitchen Wifi Location was perfect!
The pillows were super hard There was noisy kids up stairs (but that is not the hotels fault) Could use some updating on the linen's/decor
Our room was clean. The location was good.
The pillows were not very comfortable and the bottom sheet did not fit well as it kept coming off the mattress. The pool was being emptied so we could not use it.
The Location, close to restaurants and the lake.
The facilities, they are old, need to renovate and upgrade.
Friendly front staff who gave us a free upgrade to our room.
Smokers had free roaming, including the pool and BBQ areas-even the walkway to our room.
we dissatistfy the room that we stay in
#119 and #109 are two of the dirtiest hotel rooms I have ever stepped into. The staff are not pleasant and the pool is COLD!! The area around the pool is outdated and very dirty with small pools of green moldy water all over the deck. There are full wet ashtrays in the pool area. YUCK!! Stay away, they will charge you for all the nights you originally planned to stay there so you cant even leave once you see how dirty the place is!!
The fact that I am no longer there!!
Worst/Dirtiest rip off hotel I have EVER had to deal with. We arrived with two kids, tired after a long 11 hour drive. I was suspicious as to why they insisted on taking payment for all three nights as soon as we checking in but I was tired and paid it anyway... suspicious until I saw the room they tried to put us in; #119 on the back side of this hotel. I wouldn't even let my kids sit down on the bed it was so repulsive and dirty. I wouldn't store cattle in this gross excuse for a hotel room. This was the dirtiest room I have ever walked into!! It smelled like mold and pee, and the walls were so dirty it looked as if it hadn't been cleaned or looked after in years, there was a phone number scratching into the bathroom wall, there were stains everywhere, the closet doors were missing and the list goes on and on; Unfit for humans!!!!. Even thought there was an event going on in Penticton and we knew there were no other hotels available for that night I insisted the "manager" give our money back so we could enjoy a cleaner/ safer sleep in a back alley next to some homeless people (seriously I would have had my family sleep in the car instead). Of course the guy at the front desk was not willing to give our money back and instead offered to show us a different room. We also had another couple with us who were given room #109; another gross dump (mold in the bathroom, rugs so dirty they couldn't take their shoes off). They too wanted to leave but were charged the full amount for all three days when they arrived so we were all stuck. The manager refused to return our money so we could go else where, instead he put us in a room which was renovated cheaply, but was livable. -The pool is NOT heated, it is dirty and not maintained(I have photos of puddles around the deck which are full of green mold), and ashtray next to my lounger was so full of cigarette butts I gagged when I sat next down. -No ice...
Room Pool Service Courtyard Noise
the front desk agent was friendly and was very helpful. pool seemed nice, nice area to sit outside of the room,
room was filthy, beds were old, there were crumbs on the headboard, toilet didn't really flush, kitchen was disgusting, the tv was from the 70s, there was cigarette butts all over the outside by the pool, towels looked like they had been washed too many times, towels too old, we noticed a distinct difference between the rooms, we saw some other rooms with hardwood floors, granite counter tops, and new beds.
Everything. So run down. Won't stay there again.
Pool was ice cold.
The kitchen and the two barbecues were great. Love the suite with extra room for older kid so he could "get away"
air conditioning & nothing else
cabinet doors falling off, the stove was filthy dirty, the oven was black with filth, we should have called the board of health.the bath mat was filthy & my wife slip & fell coming out of the tube. the person who cleaned our room us a dirty mop & made the bathroom smell like wet dog . bad place to stay at.
The first room we were given was old and outdated. It was dirty with bugs on the wall. The A/C didnt work and we did not feel safe. Also the hotel didnt have an ice machine. They gave us a different room when we asked for out money back as they do not give refunds. Second room was to date, seemed cleaner and safe. No rooms had an alarm clock or clock.
Noisy people in the night. Microwave was outside the room. Table and chairs are outside the room.
It; needs to be updated?
We asked for a non-smoking room. The room we were assigned, room 105, absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke. The A/C is located over the door, so every time you walked through the door water dripped on you. The entire hotel needs upgrading. The total cost of staying one night was $159.89, very poor value.
The location is good. It was easy to find and handy to places to eat. It looked like there were better rooms in the facility than the one we had. The unit had a fridge and it was cleanish.
Hmmmm. The room was a closet with a bathroom. The weather was hot so the AC was a must and it was about a foot from the bed. Loud and blowing right on my husband all night. The TV was an old tube style. Just not used to that in this day and age. There were patio tables with chairs right outside our door for extra sitting space. Some one should be appointed to wipe the grunge off of the table tops and pick up the cigarette butts that were everywhere around the area. Yuck! Price was almost $200.00 for the night after taxes. Just no value. That room should have been priced far more reasonably. It was a last minute choice for us so we paid up and took our lumps when we got there. Still that doesn't require us to say how fabulous it was. Because it wasn't.
The only thing I liked about my room was that I had a king size bed.
-The maid didn't close our door all the way one day and someone could have taken all our valuables. -It was dirty everywhere, I ended up sanitising the whole room with disinfecting wipes. -Lots of noisy plumbing problems such as the air conditioning and water pipes from other people taking a shower, it awoke me from a deep sleep. -TV was really small and all the other rooms had much bigger tv's.
Closeness to restaurants and family event. Lovely inner courtyard.
Stairways and corridors need a facelift and upkeep for cleanliness.
the pool was amazing, lots of seating, good location to everything, lots of towels, friendly/polite staff
There was no blowdryer in the room, no chair on the balcony and it was dirty under the bed
room was small and dark
Great pool, location and owners.
Really needs some updating in the room. The bathroom door didn't lock, the air conditioner was extremely loud and you could hear everything from other rooms.
I only booked it for one night
Full and uncovered garbage can and dirty table outside unit. Bedroom light didn't work. TV from the 1980s. And tiny. Swayback mattress meant a sore back in the morning. The rating on booking.com is total nonsense!!!
