Front desk kind and sincere.
Like staying at a friend's place in college...! Front desk often not available.
The position is very good. It's just 5-10 mis to walk to the downtown and the surrounding scenic spots.
The kicthen is too small. It's so smelly in the bathroom. Noisy at night.
Good service and location
The breakfast would be included for all the tourist at Hotel and Apartaments.
location was good for walking
location was across the street from a busy bar and so people were very noisy outside and below our room on the street. Also there is no fan or air conditioning so you had to have the window open for air which then let in all the noise. The rear exit was blocked by trash and a ladder and the breakfast was really not very good.
Staff member was very helpful and gave us lots of advice.
Dodgy area- felt very unsafe. Loud at night with a bar across the road. There was no parking near to the hotel and the carpets were dirty. Breakfast was very basic with little choice.
The one-bedroom apartment was advertised as part of the hotel, when in fact it was not. Everything in the apartment was old and run down. The toilet did not work right, the shower dripped constantly, the refrigerator was so loud it kept me awake at night. The upstairs neighbors also kept me awake at night. This was the worst vacation of my life!
Very Comfortable and very nice staff.
The location was near the neighborhood I wanted to visit.
Apparently the hotel rooms were booked full when I arrived, so I was told I would get upgraded to an apartment with no extra charge. Unfortunately, the apartment was in a different building a block away. The apartment was old and not very nice, it is in severe need of repairs and renovation. The building did not feel safe or secure and staying there added stress to my stay in Montreal. I would suggest paying a little more and stay at a nicer hotel.
room is very clean and tidy, soundproof, comfortable. nice location, very convenient to the bus station, greyhound station and subway.
room size is very small and tiny, it is very hard foe two people stay in a narrow place. wiffi signal is poor! no space for breakfast.
The staff was kind and helpful. The room had a balcony.
It was very expensive given the August long weekend... Book way in advance people!
No wifi signal
Bathroom to small, sink not draining properly.
The flushing the toilet was broken and the internet did not work. Not served breakfast.
The location was great
It was a bit dirty and there was no water pressure in the shower.
I stayed for two weeks, so I got to know the place well. The room & bathroom were a great size for just one person (I reserved a medium room). It would have been tight for two. Breakfast was solid (several things to chose from) - but the room where it is served is rather tiny - I brought mine back to my room. I could walk - everywhere. the were plenty of local food shopping so I could keep my expenses down and the fridge in the room helped. I am a woman who traveled alone and felt pretty safe - the door locks could be better. Overall I felt I made a strong choice.
As others have said getting in on your first day can be a bit of a challenge - someone must answer the door and there isn't always someone there. But after the first day you get the door code and you are fine. There was a flip chair in my room that was kinda gross (white and dirty). I put my suitcase on it for the duration. Breakfast should start earlier. I was ok with the neighborhood but I know people who would not be - it is in boy's town and has a city feel.
Great location and great price, so close to everything. Small room but comfortable, didn't mind though since we weren't spending much time in the room during our stay anyways. Free wifi was great to have, continental breakfast was just enough. Concierge was very helpful.
No air conditioning in rooms, so we kept our windows and balcony door open, so it was quite noisy from the steet and at night and in the morning. Carpets were a bit questionable, no bathtub.
I like the easy going and found it Very cheap going and very private this is a my second time staying here so I am happy with value and would stay again. Plus the remember me from last year that was nice
the room was dirty the room had pipes bursting through the wall the room had a socket hanging out of the wall avoid the hotel at all cost
It was centrally located. Free Breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
I didnt like that we only received 2 towels per day for 2 people, had to ask for more. they didn't clean the room daily just made bed and emptied garbage. The breakfast rooms is very small, can only fit 4 people.
needs more lighting in the bathroom
Nice room and very handy location, and breakfast was ok, wifi worked well
The only negative would be that it was quite noisy - not from other hotel guests but from outside street noise. There seemed to be people shouting all night and even earplugs couldn't block it all out - maybe it was just because it was the weekend?
Felt like I was living there
The location is great to be near everything
No TV access. Although was told the system was new it did not work. The air freshener or whatever is used is very strong.
Location amazing and just an all around nice place you feel at home but the staff could use better communication skills.
Staff wasn't really available
Very good wifi connection Nice beds Nice decoration Good location
The bathroom is really small and old, not well maintained and not clean (hair still there when we arrived) The neighbours on the terrace can be really loud at night
