Very close to metro forshopping and attractions.

I liked that the staff were very friendly. the hotel was very clean. the breakfast was nice and plenty of it and they were very flexible.

The only thing i did not like that the bed was not so comfortable.

I stayed in an apartment around the corner from Hotel Stay (part of owner's property as well). Location was great-not far from Park De La Fontaine-wonderful running/walking/biking paths there surrounded by trees. Two minute walk to Metro station. Great customer service! Staff was very helpful though not always available.

Even though management came and changed fuse in oven, when I tried to use the oven my last night, apparently it blew again-so could not use at all. Stove did work though. Apartment a bit old, but not bad-everything worked except oven. Neighbors downstairs made quite a bit of noise on regular basis (seemed at least 5 or more lived down there)-perhaps as old building-thin walls (as door shook each time they came in and out). Overall, great value though.

Located very close to Berri uqam subway station. The room was clean and looked good. Continental breakfast (croissants, yoghurt, juice) was included. The owner provided a very good map of Montreal and gave detailed instructions re public transport, sightseeing, etc. There is a fridge in the room. Wi fi works well. It is possible to print your boarding passes, excursion tickets, etc at the reception free of charge. Overall, excellent value for money and a very pleasant place.

Check-in time has to be negotiated prior to arrival as there's no staffed reception, and this is fine, but the hotel staff are not always punctual, so I had to wait for about 15 minutes when I arrived. The breakfast room is very crammed and has only four chairs (with hardly any extra space left), so I preferred to take breakfast out to my room.

Helpful staff and decent breakfast. Apartment was a decent size and reasonably private. The area was gay friendly and local people were friendly.

Hotel simple, quiet and organized. The staff was really helpful in everything imaginable: directions, parking, breakfast and everything else. An excellent location and value for money ... I recommend!

Stairs a bit long and dangerous for those with heavy bags ...

Lack of coffeemaker in apartment; we were promised one and it never was brought by. Not enough seating in livingroom for four adults; small couch.

Unbelievable value for money. Room was exceptionally nice and clean. Kind staff and very quiet.

Shower was extremely small, although it did have good pressure. Bed linens lacked quality.

Great value for money and very central location within downtown. Nicely decorated. Bedroom and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Free wifi and breakfast made the stay even more enjoyable. Owners David and Giovanni were amazing, friendly, and helpful. Will definitely stay here every time I'm in Montreal.

No elevators, but staff is more than happy to assist you with luggage when you ask for help.

David at the front desk was very helpful.

I had to leave early in the morning and missed the complimentary breakfast.
