The location, only. Room on a noisy street, not really clean. No one at reception during the night and early morning, which made the payment a difficult thing: was never reimbursed of one the double payment I made, even after several emails. Definitely not to be recommended.

The view on Mont-Royal Toilet not in the room. Hotel of the same price on Park Avenue has toilet in the bedroom. Also our stay was not confirmed, so when we got there they had no reservation. When they saw the booking confirmation, they made room, but still for a moment it looked like we were being shipped to a hotel 15 minutes away.

The location was very convenient to the family I was visiting. I got an excellent price through booking.com (cad 32 per night). When my plans changed, I was able to reschedule my nights without charge. The continental breakfast while not great, was better than I expected. Better than most Travelodge hotels. The heat in my room was excessive. I had to open the window, and even so, it was still too hot. There was alot of dust along the baseboards, in the fan in the bathroom. Would have preferred being able to heat up the croissant for breakfast, and have expresso/cappucino coffee available.

It was a very pleasant spot, in a convenient area. The room was quite comfortable, the breakfast included was adequate. The hotel manager on duty that day was wonderfully kind and helpful, especially with my husband who has a disability. He gave us suggestions as to a suitable restaurant within walking distance, warned us about moving our car from the hotel parking in the morning, because of traffic rules, helped us enormously with our suitcases, and was generally most accommodating. We would gladly recommend this hotel to friends and relations. Only the stairs were difficult for my husband. Not a big problem.

I chose this small family hotel for it´s excellent location right next to the Mont Royal subway station. Rue St. Denis with it´s restaurants and shops is around the corner. Thirdly, the mountain Mont Royal with it´s beautiful park is within walking distance. This is a barebone budget hotel offering reasonable accommodation in a very expensive city. Unexpectedly in a busy neighborhood the room was very quiet. The hotel gives the client a key to the street door. The lock is rather tricky, you will have to manually lift the door a bit to get it open. This was explained to the client quite clearly, no complaint there, but even in a budget hotel, this should be fixed. It is not a pleasant situation to stand in a strange street, trying to get the temperamental lock to open.

The hotel has an excellent location right beside a subway station and near the corner of St. Denis and Mont Royal, two great shopping and eating streets. The staff didn't speak English very well but we were able to communicate on basic issues. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we really liked the little fridge for storing drinks and fruit. The free breakfast was helpful but needed supplement. The baked goods were bought from a grocery store. The coffee was from a machine but tasted good. We took apples and bananas and yoghurt. We bought some milk and cereal and fruit which we stored in our fridge. The room was a bit warm, on days with a high of 21 degrees celsius. We were told that the window airconditioning units would be installed on June 6. This would help with the temperature and also the noise from the street. With a cafe below the hotel and the busy Mont Royal street, there was loud talking and some loud noise from young people in the late evening and even at night.

The location is excellent: right beside the Mont Royal Metro Station and within walking distance to many restaurants, bistros and cafes. I was surprised to find there was a continental breadfast included in the price. It is a busy street, but there were good blackout curtains. T.V. and WiFi reception was good. Wasn't keen on the shared bathroom, shower facilities, but for a couple of nights it was o.k.
