It was close to the subway and ATM. Room cleaned every day.
The room smelt stale, breakfast turned up 25 minutes late; quality of breakfast was shocking, e.g. watery coffee from a machine; staff were absent most of the time; morning showers were cold; not enough bathrooms available; my request for a quiet room was ignored; street noise was terrible; smoke alarm was hanging off the roof by a loose wire.
Location Friendly staff
Shower in women's washroom didn't have hot water
Proximité du métro
Le prix trop dispendieux Le ménagé négligé
Location..close to metro and restaurants around....
The hotel, force advertising,it shows different images from what you see in person. -Long stairs, very tiring -100% rude manager -disgusting shared bathroom..more than 2 people use the bathroom -tiny rooms and beds including the comforters ****all the pictures wich were showed online were fake..rooms are tiny with beds for babies...never again, they steal your money...you can get a better place for the kind of money they charge you....**the receptionist was nice but the manager/owner is 100% rude with no manners.....foolish hotel
Location, free breakfast, air conditioning, nice service, no complaints
Shared bathrooms had a funny smell time to time and girls bath tub could be fixed (would sink in once you stood in it)
Great location and access to subway. Lots of restaurants in the surrounding area. The space in the room was ok, but the bed was very comfortable to sleep in. The bathrooms were well kept and clean but the open window in the bathroom can provide a source of discomfort as people can peak right through it and see you shower naked.
There was no air conditioning during the first few days I stayed there. The room was steaming hot, it kept me all night until about 3 am when I was able to finally sleep. There is no sink in the shared washroom -- a huge hygiene issue. Where do I go wash my hands? The price I paid for my stay didn't feel right. The breakfast was okay, but it didn't fill me up. We got a choice of croissants or slice of bread, yogurt, juice, hot chocolate, coffee or caffe mocha.
Very good location, close to subway, shops and restaurants very near, good wifi, nice view from the window
Not good bed, very small tv in the room, very simple breakfast, parking nearby but cost 10 dollar per day, shower did not work during first day
Good location, clean, cheap
shared restrooms, but that was expected
A staff (a lady) at front desk is very nice. She helped me a lot and gave us much good information. I could stay the hotel conviniently other than cold water at shower rooms.
I can not use hot water at all the shower rooms for "three days". I took a shower of cold water even though the outside temperature was 12 deg C. Off course, Owner seemded to ask technicians to fix it. But it was not fixed for three days.
No person at the reception
Excellent location and friendly staff.
The building is old and not very well maintained. Washrooms and bathrooms very small and uncomfortable.
The location is great, the breakfast adequate and the place is clean enough. The price can't be beat.
Room number 6 faces a busy intersection so it can be quite noisy at night, especially if you want to sleep with the window open.
Location, next to metro station, café open 24hrs downstairs, rue Mont-Royal, reasonable price, nice and very friendly staff,
Completely charming and cozy. Staff were so friendly, room was quirky but really comfortable. The hotel is in a brilliant location.
There was nothing I disliked but this hotel might not suit those who are used to corporate chains.
Location and price
location, cleanliness, friendly staff
The hotel has a really good location, next to the metro station and near to the Mont Royal. The room was confortable and the breakfast was ok.
Sometimes is difficult to talk to the stuff there, they have a restrict schedule of work and sometimes they should be there but apparently the aren't or they are in some place not really accessible.
Friendly staff, clean nice rooms, right next to the metro station, free breakfast
Small beds, bathroom, and shower, hard to find location.
Value for money. Perfect location, almost best in Montreal, as its only 30 sec to Metro Mont Royal. Size of room,
Wi fi is working for 4-5 mnutes, and then always and always, again must entered, as it lost connectivity?? Huge problems with paying with my amex card, as I had paid before, and paid later, bigger amount then 50 cad here. But owner accused me, that was rejected, and did not allowed me to stay, 1 week later?? And Lady on Reception was able to speak Spanish only??
The position is amazing but their sister hotel next to the bus terminal is way better in comfort plus, is totally renewed. This one is just ok. Staff is great (mainly the older guy)!
Everything was fine. Nothing to complain about
Didnt want us to use their kitchen Tried to take extra money from my bank account long after we stayed there.
We loved the price (got a crazy cheap smart deal), the good quality bath robes, comfy bed, piping hot water in the shower, being walking distance to the metro, cable channels, and the delicious self-serve breakfast! It's a self-serve hotel.
The location was actually really good - right by the metro station which made it really easy to get everywhere. The room itself was alright... Worth the money, I'd say.
As we were checking in, the staff seemed impatient. The Wi-Fi had such a poor signal that never seemed to work. The bathing and toiletting facilities were very simple and did not have sinks so you'd have to wait til you got back to your room to wash your hands after using the washroom.
