Good Bed and good shower. Motel was easy to find. Front door of motel on major highway. A row of cedars would probably break some of the traffic noise and make property more comfortable. ( I do have to say the room was fairly soundproof) Breakfast did not start until 8:00 which is a little late.

The room was very clean. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were awesome. The staff were friendly and helpful and the continental breakfast was a nice start to the day. I will definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area.

We have been staying at the Summerland Motel when we are in the area for a number of years. It is comfortable, reasonably priced, offers a basic breakfast and has a nice garden area. It is close to Penticton, golf and the lake. The owners are friendly and helpful.

The shower curtain had black mould on it and there were dead flies on the floor of the room. They hadn't left any coffee for the coffee maker and when we called the front desk they did not offer to bring it to us. I wouldn't stay there again.

It was not very clean. The drain of the bath was plugged. The apple with breakfast was ineddible. After asking more than once, did I get a receipt.

Really great place for cleanliness, which is huge to us, lovely little pool...off the beaten path with a short 8 - 10 minute drive to Penticton. Nice and quiet. No complaints just a suggestion to travellers...its located on a slower part of the highway, so if you're sensitive to the noise of traffic, you may want to request a backside room.

Central location. Breakfast. Full kitchen with all supplies. The pool. Proimity to stores etc. The couch made us itchy. Not clean. The price for our dog was $15 a night which was a bit steep. Whistler we paid a flat fee of $30-35 for unlimited stay.

Friendly people - perfectly located - great pool; Lobby was too hot during breakfast.... Breakfast could have been served earlier... Mosquitoes??? But that's not the motels fault...

The only good thing was that it was available and in Summerland. Old, run-down, extremely over-priced for what you get. Selected it only for its location (and given others in area were booked.) Would not recommend. Go to Penticton!

Easy to find, close to family, staff did a great job of putting us on the quiet side of the building and upstairs. We appreciated that.

Place was simple and clean, and low key. Although the highway was adjacent to the property, the traffic noise at night was not noticable. The backyard was enjoyable. It was high season, so the rates were ok, but i thought perhaps 20.00$ a night too much.

Cheap for the location. It is neither on the beach nor in the town of Summerland or Penticton, but it is close to all three which makes it very convenient. While the buffet breakfast is a step above a continental bun and coffee, the choice of cereal could be a lot better - (rice crispies or corn flakes) and they are in the heart of the orchard country - fresh fruit should be abundant. The place needs a lot of repair, the stairs to the upper rooms are rusted and paint chipped, the walkways are showing sign of rot everywhere. While not unsafe, it could be a lot better for not a lot of money.
