Our suite overlooking the lake was lovely - we'll be back for sure.
The price of a 9 ounce glass of wine at the on site restaurant.
great views and beautiful sun sets the staff were professional and curtious, great stay and will be going back for sure!!
need more parking for large vehicles
It was a nice little place close to the water and very nicely situated. The rooms are in very good condition and are generally well appointed. We stayed in a single bedroom room the first night and a double bedroom the rest of our stay because we had people join us. It was great that the second room had two bathrooms and a washer and dryer which we used.
This room is built to sleep as many as 6 people but only comes with roughly 4 of everything - even just 4 patio chairs. You can't have a meal without running the dishwasher because there are only 4 plates or bowls. It is supposed to be an "eco friendly" place but you end up running a half empty dishwasher. Also, there's not enough parking really and they mention you can't park in the adjoining parking lot because it is for the restaurant - so you have to park across the street (which is fine).
It was close to the beach/lake and wineries. Big, spacious suites with large patios were great for entertaining. The beds were amazing and it was the best sleep I had all year. Free parking and wifi was huge plus since hotel usually charge $$$$ for those options.
For a lot of our stay we only had hot water. This was issue when you wanted something to drink, or wash your hands/face. The lake/beach was close but the lake is filled with tons of gross weeds so I would never go swimming in there. We rented two, 2 bedroom suites and one was substantially nicer. One was dark and small, while the other was bright, open and spacious. They were the same price, which amazed me. The wifi does not allow for streaming, but it is free, so I guess we can't complain about that.
Great to have the restaurant on the grounds . Nice coffee and tea in the rooms
Could have provided small samples of milk in the rooms for the coffee. Also great if the little bistro breakfast should stock a few supplies like bread
Layout and design well equipped Kitchen Nice bathroom Bathrobe Large patio Ecological marsh area
No parking spot on first night Continuous noise - yacht club patrons and traffic Difficulty turning down A/C
The location is great....we had an excellent pool side suite and it was fab! Tight for 4 adults as it was a studio suite...nice days you can do so much nearby. Pentiction only about 10 minutes away....walk to public beach easily!! Patio and staff with Locale restaurant was fantastic!! Upside of outdoor hot tub meant you could still be "warm" on rainy nights!!
Uncontrollable but 2 days of rain meant we were indoors too much- sun cheated!!! :)
Stayed overlooking the pool and lake... It was stunning. The room was clean and comfy. The food was well worth the money.. The only downfall was the gym equipment . Would recommend the place to everyone and planning on having our wedding guests stay there
Not long enough time to stay. Will definitely come again
Everything. Nice restaurant adjacent.
Some doubt as to whether one of the beds had been changed. Not sure if housekeeping only change bedding when requested by the room cards when should ALSO be when change of guests.
Thank you for the complimentary wine! Love the outdoor fire and marshmallows too.
Didn't have our reservations but found another room for the same price.
Room was beautiful, clean and spacious. Staff were attentive and kind.
Too many kids at this resort. The pool area was too small. Too many kids acting rowdy around the pool and the staff did nothing about it - definitely not somewhere you would go for relaxation.
the location. The cafe next door. The beaver pond. The hot tub.
The grounds, particularly the roses were beautiful. Great BBQ area and outdoor space
Hotel is at edge of lake. Lovely views. Pleasant room with very well equipped kitchen.
Layout of the hotel means you have to walk long distances with luggage or use stairs.
Friendly staff. Dog friendly. Nice restaurant adjacent to property. Outstanding menu. Beautiful lakeside resort.
My dog doesn't like elevators, so we had to hoof it to the second floor. Had to manage my own luggage without the elevator.
Location by the lake is excellent. The restaurant & lounge next door has great food.
Bistro was only open at weekends. Although we did find a bakery in the town that was good.
Quality of the room was more than expected. Very nice!
Main bathroom lighting is poor. Not being able to turn the heating / A/C totally off was annoying re constant breeze in the room.
Spacious, comfortable and quiet suite with a great view of the lake. Well equipped kitchen, great restaurant next to the hotel.
Location, suite, restaurant and environment around the hotel.
Loved the suite!!!
The windy road to get to the resort and spa.
Studio suite very comfortable and kitchen well supplied Very quiet and private Car garage with easy access to room
A few things needed to be looked at - wood panel near sink was damaged maybe by steam, hair dryer only worked well on #2 setting, hand-held shower head was leaking onto edge of tub - very minor fixes
We enjoyed a 3 night stay with you. Your staff are very good. One of our party had flu in the middle of the night, and we were supplied with the extra provisions we needed to cope. Loved the basket with local coffee roaster samples (Lone Tree) for the french press! The view of the lake, bird sanctuary and marina are beautiful.
The reduced holiday hours for the on-site restaurants at the resort... we had enjoyed an excellent dinner there in the summer and had hoped to try a lunch there, too.
Nice location and comfortable beds.
Need to keep up with maintenance. Ventalation was very poor. Could smell everyone's cooking.
The location, the layout of the room and the kitchen, and the cost.
