The coffee shop staff is friendly but very slow. The kitchens are not at all well equipped, and the cookware they do provide is cheap in quality. There should be lounge chairs for the suites (the type that are around the pool), instead of uncomfortable, standard, plastic chairs. The gym is mediocre (old treadmills, some equipment was out of order, but they do have Bosus, balls, and a good selection of weights). Given that we paid almost $400 a night I would've expected a better equipped facility overall that was completely spotless.
We are a fam of 4 & stayed in a 2 bdrm poolside suite on the ground level. We loved: that the kids could go in & out as they pleased while we kept an eye in them; the pool could have been a little warmer for the kids & the hottub was not too hot but this worked out perfectly for the kids; The unit was quiet but once people moved above us we could hear them - we could not hear the people that were in the suite next to us though. There's a beautiful marsh just steps away with pond life, as well as a small beach that's better just to watch the ducks at versus actually swim at. The restaurant called Local is mediocre at best, although it's nice to sit on their patio for dinner. I would recommend Zia's Stonehouse instead for their really large Caesar salad and better value overall. The beds are comfortable. The showers offer a removable head which makes it easier to wash the children, however a removable head would be helpful in the bathtub as well.
