The room was way too hot even with the heat off. Bathroom door handle broke. Parking was ridiculously tight. Information about parking was misleading.

Excellent value for the 3 days we were there. Rooms are great, comfortable, but not too fancy... Similar in feel to a European hotel. Good, friendly staff. The ski storage room had a bench to wax the skis.... A nice addition. Although the hot tub area was small and indoors, it was well done, with towels, showers and toilet facilities. We didn't use the sauna or steam room, but they looked clean and well maintained.

We would have liked a microwave in the unit. Otherwise, the room was well appointed.

The door locks seemed a bit outdated and I wondered how secure they actually were. Our deadbolt didn't work.

The rooms at Sun Peaks Lodge were clean and comfortable and the perfect location - ski -in and ski-out and in the middle of the village. We had a super time with the kids and loved how easy everything was.

Ice machine only in the basement. No suitable stairs to reach the second floor making it mandatory to use the elevator.

the location is awesome, right in the middle of the village, easy walking everywhere. staff was very friendly, and the hotel had been nicely renovated, it was spotless, and the beds were very comfortable after a long days skiing. great place, we'll be back! also liked the fact that they actively discourage parties and guests after 10.

the only downfall was the fridge, i'm a light sleeper and would normally unplug the fridge as the noises keep me awake, but couldn't because the cord was hidden way behind furniture. also, the snowplow or cat were out and about quite early which woke me up, but that's not really fault of the hotel, would maybe try for a room that didn't face the road next time.

Hot tub water quality needs work

What most impressed me about Sun Peaks Lodge was that the staff went out of their way to accommodate your every need. The staff were friendly, courteous and professional. Sun Peaks Lodge is now my preferred lodging when visiting Sun Peaks Resort. I highly recommend it.

The only cause for complaint was that the room temperature was extremely warm even when the thermostat was turned all the way down. However, opening our balcony door helped immensely.

Booked this hotel in error using booking.com but it was the best mistake anyone could make. This is a fabulous hotel with a manager in Mario who always goes the extra mile to ensure you have a memorable stay. We can only imagine how fantastic this must be in Winter, real picture post card stuff without a doubt. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Exceptionally clean room. Great value for a King bed room for the price. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful at check-in and with parking (at front, free, convenient), restaurant options (other hotels) and for responding immediately to a request for another coffee packet for the room. Proper wine glasses and opener provided.

The restaurant was closed for the season. There is no air conditioning and although a small fan is provided the cord was too short to position in the window (patio door) to bring in the cool night air.
