Good motel for the price

Motel was fine - it snowed in Creston on May 23rd - not expecting that

We have stayed there before and liked the place and the owners.

The price was too high, especially without any continental breakfast.

Clean, older bed, had a good sleep. Nice kitchen, with dishes and good coffee machine. Would consider this motel for a longer stay (we were only there one night without any groceries).

The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a small friendly mom and pop organization.

Small clean hotel. You can tell they cared about the hotel with it being as clean as it was.

Good Location

A run down Motel 6 facility being offered at a close to Hilton Price. Beds were uncomfortable.

Clean, comfortable, friendly, lots of space for parking a trailer, good value.

Only one coffee bag per unit and unfortunately the shower head spray water everywhere.

The pool was very nice. The location was good and although very basic the room was good value for the money.

They use a highly scented cleaner or deodorizer which made it almost unbearable for us to stay in the room. If we had been aware of the highly scented nature of the room before we paid we would have found a different hotel. Too many people are scent sensitive these days and all attempts should be made to keep the room and the linen scent neutral. We had to buy our own pillow cases in order to use the pillows. Our traveling companions asked for a pet free room and could only be assured that the room would have been cleaned after a pet stayed in it. Unfortunately that isn't enough for a lot of people.

We were impressed with Sunset Motel - for all of the above reasons [see ratings]. We would DEFINITELY stay here again, should our travels take us through Creston!

Lillian and Dennis are such a nice couple and if there are any problems - they solve them immediately. We have stayed there previously and enjoyed our stay.

Our room with two double beds was quite cramped.No breakfast offered.

freezer did not work (had to get manager to freeze our ice packs) plus freezer had no door on it. There was no king beds available at this motel. Had no plug for tub until we asked for one. Good value for one night stay.

The motel staff were friendly and the location was easy to find. They should look into either replacing mattresses or adding some type of foam to make the bed more comfortable! The beds were quite stiff. Other than that it was good value for the price. We would stay there again.
