Quiet Comfortable bed Lots of lights - options for reading
Could not access any channels on the TV
great location. friendly and helpful owner. Great value for the money
room was very small
Lots of character, with great family owners. Well kept, basic rooms but clean and functional. Great location off the highway so it is quiet, but close to all restaurants and services (walking distance).
Rooms are small and a bit dated but well worth it for the money!
Great space and set up for the family
The mattress could use an update
This was a wonderful motel located in the mountains. Clean and comfortable, excellent value for the price. Located within walking distance to restaraunts and Main Street.
It's a little dated but had a very comfortable feel.
Rustic and yet clean warm and dry. Older cabin with great mountains to look at. Passionate owners who have a personal touch and work with you and not against you like the hotel change. Some how in this family setting a request is not a big deal. No added service charges or holds on your credit card. No one gets upset if you want to pay by cash instead of credit. I was at a holiday inn and offered them cash for the room and you would have thought I was a criminal. I will take a good family run hotel over a chain any day and these folks were great. Loved it.
B.C Power worked on a electric pole at about 3am and were not in the least bit quiet. Shouting at each other in the middle of the night instead of simply driving up to the pole and simply re setting the breaker box on the transformer . This had nothing to do with the hotel.
Price was decent was in a secluded cabin
TV was small didn't know about any wifi
Reasonably priced in a great location, middle of radium and a short drive to Invermere.
Wished there would've been more kitchen appliances like a microwave or a toaster oven.
Older motel, but very clean. For the $80 spent, we would stay again.
The management is so rude no wondering it's for sale,
The basic cabin was easily the cheapest thing we could find to stay in, although that was largely due to over-inflated prices during the summer season. The sheets, kitchenette and bathroom were all clean.
Stained up carpets don't give a great initial impression. Not having any AC was a bit of an unpleasant surprise. Ditto the fact that the kitchenette had no microwave. The walls were very thin, you could hear everything and everyone around you. The WiFi was so slow it couldn't even run Netflix when there was nothing good on TV. The bed was lumpy, squeaky and generally not great. It was fine, it didn't ruin the weekend, but it didn't do much to improve it either.
Owner was friendly and accommodated a late arrival
I booked the double bed room and while small it had everything I needed including mini fridge & a microwave.
The water pressure was wonky in the shower resulting in a bit of a dance when the hot water temp would suddenly spike.
1) the super-friendly and helpful owner; 2) The room was equipped pretty much with everything one needs during the stay: coffee, fridge, kitchen utensils, the TV/ basic cable,t eh stove and even a tea pot. The shower supplies were basic, but they were all there.
The shower was impossible to operate: the water kept changing from cold to scolding hot, and it took 15 minutes to get 'done' with it, at minimum. It is not a biggie during the summer but I imagined someone staying in that room int he winter fiddling with a cold shower not turning hot for 10 minutes, and I would not want to be in their place!
close to highway. able to park close to room. good water pressure and really hot water.
wasn't given the room we reserved and the person checking us in was very indifferent - claiming that the room we were getting was an upgrade (I can promise you that if this was an upgrade, I'd be afraid to see the other rooms). No apology offered. Didn't appreciate overall how we were spoken to when we arrived. I would only stay there again if I absolutely had no other option.
We loved the grills available for guest use and picnic tables in the quiet court yard that we could enjoy the outdoors , felt like we were at our own little cottage , simple yet well kept .
Reasonable price, cute exterior design, quiet.
No air conditioning in our room, there was a strange smell (possibly a type of cleaner) permeating the room when we arrived, furnishings should probably be updated.
Air quality. Air conditioner was too loud to keep on at night, and the breeze didn't come through the window much. But nice to be able to open windows!
We were stuck on the wrong side of a wild land fire and could not make it to the hotel. Got the run around when I called to work something out and followed up with an email when we got home that has not been answered. There are a lot of other places to stay nearby and I would recommend looking elsewhere for accommodations near Radium.
Great value. Friendly staff. Nice scenery.
a bit dated but fine for our purposes:)
Price, location, fridge and a couple stove burners
Uncomfortable bed, dated plumbing (shower especially), water had to run for 5 minutes before you would get hot water.
Staff was very friendly and helpful for anything you needed
Wifi could have been better, but then again, you are in the middle of the mountains
It has everything we need such as wifi, microwave.
Nothing in particular
