Very personable staff who made a point to ensure we were comfortable and happy.
For the money, That is the best ...
The motel was walking distance to everything. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Would definitely book here again.
The staff was amazing, very helpful they were expecting us. We booked two rooms and they were able to switch from smoking to non smoking rooms, also the two rooms were able to connect thru a door. Pet friendly, we took out small dog. Is about 10-15 min walk to the falls and main street, 5- 10 min from behind the falls. The pool was cleaned. It is a little bid outdated but as long as it was clean that's all we really care. Free parking, which was great since we did not move the car since we arrived to Niagara falls. Closed to restaurants and DQ.
TV not a lot of channel options.
Room was smelling smoke. Bathroom was not clean at all.. The price is extremely expensive for such a dirty room !!
Giant spa tub, everything in walking distance.
location, air conditioning
no internet, very old drapes and comforter, gros bathroom, very old tv, no vending machine for water etc.,very sketchy tenants, high price for what you got, HST was calculated incorrectly
They advertised free WiFi, but I couldn't get into it in the room. When I got home, I found out that I had a virus/trojans in my computer and it wiped out my Microsoft Office, which I had to repurchase. I was not too happy about that. The manager told me that there were only a limited number of WiFi spaces etc. and that is why I couldn't get on. I am not happy. Also, our room was not cleaned. We had left our room and came back around 2.30. We had to ask for clean towels, soap, shampoo and the room was not cleaned. There was no advertised phone in the room, no microwave The room was narrow and not a lot of room for two people to pass each other. If I was sitting at the desk, my husband could not go by without me getting up and moving the chair closer to the desk. When we used the jacuzzi, the water was not very warm. When I used the shower after my husband, the water was lukewarm. Upon leaving our room, the door would was locked, but when we checked it, the door was open just a crack and not stable; someone could have gotten in. We were told "that they had insurance" and nobody would go in. Not acceptable. I would not recommend this place. They advertised rooms at $49 on the sign outside, but when I was in the lobby and someone wanted to check in, they were told that there were no rooms there for $49. I would not recommend this place.
Walk to the Falls
We were both sick for weeks after staying there.
Great location within walking distance of most attractions. Parked the car on Friday and didn't drive it again until we went home on Sunday. Staff was friendly and we did get a good price for the room. Overall we were happy with our visit, but only because we spent very little time at the hotel.
The room seemed almost an afterthought. The cable TV didn't work, the wi-fi didn't reach our room, there was no alarm clock or phone, the bathroom was meagerly stocked with towels and toilet paper, and we had to go to the front desk to ask for a garbage can.
staff was very friendly. Hotel was clean already recommended it to family.
The second room was fine the location is very good It was a good value for the price
The first room was supposed to be non-smoking, but the stench was so thick you could cut it with a knife. They did give us a different room & it was OK.
The location was great and within walking distance to many major attractions.
I specifically asked for a non-smoking room multiple times, but was given a smoking room. My clothes smelled like smoke much of the time I was there. Also, they did not clear the parking lot of snow. My room was not serviced while I was there either.
friendly service, cheap and cheerful
a bit far to walk to the Falls (20 minutes), the surrounding area wasn't great
Staff were friendly and helped us out
The location is within walking distance to the Falls, there are many restaurants around that I did not have to go too far to get food.
The room did not get cleaned, new towels, and bed sheets everyday like others do. When asking for the cleaned towels the owner said: I will bring them to you, but it has never happened. I had to send my son to the lobby to get them. The prices is much higher than it advertises, the bill board saying $59/night but I paid more than $400 for 3 night. (With this price I can stay in Howard Johnson and get much more comfort and services)
Location was decent
Just about everything. All other reviews are true.
The room was smelly and unclean.
The gentleman in reception (Mr. Shaeky) was very polite and kind. Although our room was 'smoking' (since there was no non-smoking room when we booked) he gave us a bigger non-smoking room. The money that you pay does not mean that you should expect Hilton. Being realistic, it is on the average a good place. Shaeky said since you may not easily find a parking place, you may live your car here even after checking out. Note that some of the hotels in that area charge you separately for parking.
The hotel manager was helpful, and replaced our hairy materials.
Room smelled like marijuana. Holes in the wall. Gum on the top blanket. Hair in the bed, on the towel, and on the sink.
proximity to falls
? The photos on the internet were very flattering to the facility.
Although it is advertised as non-smoking facility, the room was hot and reeked of smoke. the air-conditioning eventially covered some of this, but both my wife and my friend got sick as a result. the beds were worn and too bouncy. The door was in bad repair, not all light bulbs were working
