Sunwapta Falls Rocky Mountain Lodge  

Warm welcoming atmosphere; fire in the room and breath-taking location.

Nice location and friendly staff. Rooms are exactly as shown in the pictures from internet. Very nice rooms for a cheap price.

Friendly staff and resturant excellent with great log fire to warm you up.

Rooms slightly on small side and beds too soft for 2 people to sleep in. Rolling to centre of bed all the time and waking one another up. Did not like the sink being right next to bed.

Loved the location (around 50km south of Jasper). Nice clean room. Internet even in the middle of the Rocky mountains :) Right next to the Sunwapta Falls.

Food etc at the shop is dead expensive, probably because they're not that close to Jasper and quite far away from Banff / other food supplies. Other than that prices were very reasonable (for rooms, souveniers) etc.

We would like to compliment the staff on being very friendly and professional. They were a delight and we appreciate their help. Everything went well and we were pleased with our stay. Thanks again to the girls at the desk.

I found the restaurant too pricey.

The fireplace in the bedroom makes it very romantic and useful since nights are cold! Good restaurant at the hotel ( good prices) and free internet point at the reception. Very kind and helpful staff.

The room was clean.

We thought the room was quite pokey and small. We thought it would be located in an area more distant further from the main road... but it was pretty much on the road. There are no other amenities such as pool, hot tub, lounge... unless you count the extensive gift shop. (A gift shop is not a big plus in my books!) There is a fairly expensive restaurant on site. No comments on that as we gave it a miss. Overall, we would not recommend this place.

Close to Sunwapta and Athabasca falls, on the icefield parkway. Nice, confortable and quiet lodges. Helpfulness and kindness of all people met : restaurant, gifts shop, reception.

The scenery was nice, gift shops too and the hotel staff were welcoming;- )

Our toilet couldn't flush as good:-( , there's no phone,no water heater when we like hot water...

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was included for comfort inb the room. The staff even walked us to our room and asked if there was anything else they could help us with.

Beds did not seem like queen size, but only double.

staff are friendly,they suggested the places to visit, after visiting, we were really thankful to them. We ordered duck at the hotel restaurant, it was delicious.

facilities should be renewed, the tap of the bath tub doesn't work in my room.

It was convenient to where we were travelling. The room was okay and very clean.

Although the room was clean, it seemed quite worn. The bedspreads were faded, and the whole area needed an update. We also felt that we paid quite a bit, compared to other places to stay in the area.
