The location is very good being so close to a C train station. The wi fi works reasonably well most of the time. Staff were helpful when you had a question.
The sound proofing is terrible. You will hear much more about the people next door than you would ever want to know. There is an extra charge for the safe in the room even if it is not used.
Nothing The outside pop machine
Dirtiest motel I've ever stayed in. The shower walls were black the fridge where you open it dirty and crusty... When I told the front desk she said sorry too late. I had to stay two days and on the second I gave up and switched hotels. Notified management they didn't care... I'm taking my pics to a news crew. The remote and alarm clock were greasy... Have pics to prove it and the TV didn't work. This hotel chain would reimburse me for the second day as I told her why I was leaving and she did NOTHING. Left a domestic problem and got sick from staying at this place. Breakfast I'm not even commenting is not worth it Maybe marketplace will help me
Full kitchen with stove etc but absolutely no utensils or dinnerware besides 6 cardboard cups.
breakfast staff always at the desk to help you
Two wake up calls at 6am and 7 am that I didn't ask for , as well I didn't have a room key that worked when I asked to be let in the man at the desk asked if I needed to leave the room again. He didn't feel like fixing the problem
It was a pleasant experience.
My wife and I have stayed in many 'budget' hotels over the years. Out of all of them, this was the best for the price. A clean room is of utmost importance to us. We've stayed in many rooms for this price (and higher) that were filthy. But this room was very clean. I will stay at this hotel when I visit Calgary again.
The size of the bathroom, the dirt and the heating system was horrible
It was close to sait and cheap.
After my 3 day stay in room156 I ended up with multiple bites all over my arms and legs. Thankfully I didn't bring any with me, after I had to have an Inspector go over my home. This room and possibly others needs to be treated for bed bugs. Terrible stay.
price and location
They don't have microwave
All staff very very kind and friendly. I had no complaints with this Motel.
I liked being close to the hospital and I needed something not too expensive, and Super 8 provided excellent service.
I was first placed in a room that reeked of pinesol because it was near a smoking unit, then they put me in an upper unit, but that was a hassle with a baby and suitcases, so finally ended up getting upgraded to ground floor as I had requested in the first place, and that was nice.
Room & bathroom to small for the price. Also requires better heating system.
rm great,price great,good location,
It's the cheapest, decent hotel I could find close to the hospital to avoid early morning traffic. Comfortable bed, good TV and wi-fi, decent cold breakfast (cereal, juice, coffee),
Couldn't open the window in my ground floor unit and air conditioning noisy so I was up in the night turning the air conditioner on and off. The wi-fi or the key card to my room interfered with my car key fob so I couldn't lock or unlock the door with it. Had to unlock with a key and then the alarm would sound. For this reason I wouldn't stay there again.
OK room. Price okay. Location perfect for my situation.
Breakfast could be upgraded . No pen or paper in rooms. No bible in room. Didn't follow requests and have my room set up. Not enough towels so had to wait for them to be washed everyday. Cleaning staff rude at times.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Can't open the window, you have to keep the door open if you want fresh air.
We liked that we got value for our money....
Located a short walk to the c-train to downtown, and had availability on short notice as hotels during the week are tough in Calgary. It was cheap, but not the reason it was booked. Only needed it for 2 days prior to taking possession of an apartment.
This place is dated and dirty. Wouldn't want to sit in one of the chairs, and accidentally pulled the sheets off of one corner of the bed before sleeping in it, looks like it was taken from the trash at the side of the road. Slept fully clothed, and would not let my bare feet touch the floor. I'll rate it 2nd worst I've ever had to stay at.
Left purse in breakfast room - desk person left voicemail for us and held pusre at office until we could return for it. Thank you!
breakfast is nonthing.
Location is excellent
