Breakfast, bed and the room was quiet for most of the night.
Dirt, old (it is supposed to be non smoking but the carpet was probably from an old time when smoking was permitted, I guess). We were booked in a room that had pooh on the bathroom, so dirt it was. The staff treated as if it was not a big deal and actually asked my wife why she didn't tell them! And when I was checking out I was surprised by a Eco-environment whatever fee, plus tax. Even though small, I am the one that should decide what to do for the environment, not them. Maybe the dirtness is exactly to be "eco friendly"?
Staff was nice
-Rooms were very old. -Wi-Fi Hardly worked the whole 3 days we were there. -Tv lost signal and was out all night. -Breakfast had poor selection. -Could hear people upstairs.
It was convenient and we have stayed there many times. I would go there again .
After the cleaning staff had cleaned the room there was still paper onthe floor and the mirrors had never been touched. They were made to clean again and it was better but it never felt really clean
Good kitchen area for breakfast.
Hotel looks really outdated. Really needs a reno. Price was high for the poor quality of facilities.
Great location, right in the middle of all shopping, dining. C-Train station is near, so is a great library.
Breakfast, very boring and never changes!
Staff at checkin and checkout friendly and efficient room clean towels clean
mattresses are extremely uncomfortable left myself and travel partner with backaches
Location, pool, breakfast, cleanliness. The guy calling to see if we were all settled in and everything was ok.
Some of the staff were not friendly at all especially the girl with the big hair. The king size suite was just an ordinary room with a pullout couch. We stayed in a lot of hotels with king size suites that were huge. This one was very small. We asked to be upgraded . We were told it would cost another 84.00 a nite. The garbage needs to be picked up every morning outside the hotel, looks terrible.
The king bed was comfortable
Sinks weren't cleaned every day and we spent five days there. We left he air conditioner on when we left the room so it wouldn't be so hot upon our return, but the staff kept turning it off. Towels need to be replaced. Black mold in tub. Needs some updating!
The breakfast good the hot tub excellent THE YOUNG WOMAN AT THE RECEPTION THE NIGHT WE CHECKED WAS VERY NICE BEDS WERE EXCELLENT
Mould in the corners of the shower WIRELESS INTERNET IN OUR ROOM WAS TOTALLY USELESS IT WAS A VERY POOR SET UP. WE WERE IN A ROOM QUITE FAR FROM THE CHECKIN DESK AND WHEN WE TOLD THEM THERE WAS A PROBLEM I WAS TOLD THAT THEY HAD GOOD RECEPTION WHERE THEY WERE SO IT WAS NOT A PROBLEM
Management was willing to work for you
The room cleanliness and carpets horrible. If you complained and got a supervisor or management great if not your were screwed. We stayed there 8 yrs ago and were thrilled but this time around it was dirty, poor value for how much we paid and the rooms are not great anymore housekeeping does the bare minimal it was really disappointing.
Perfect room facing west, no traffic noise. And very comfortable King bed. Clean room no kids running up and down hall at night. No bars so there is no outside noise and don't have to worry about car getting dings.
Hide beds could be a little more comfort.
The bathroom was filthy and the shower was nasty and wouldn't drain, bed clearly wasn't changed from last guest. So gross!!!
Bright, mostly clean
Room 302 - the water supply in the shower needs to be checked - hot and cold seem to be reversed and extremely touchy. Bathtub wasn't clean either - looked like a cat with dirty paws had been through it.
Pool and water slide. Quiet room. Staff very friendly.
Hot breakfast was horrible. Rubber eggs and spicy sausages. No regular coffee in the room. Nonsmoking room had the smell of stale cigarettes.
Pool Close to shopping Close to restaurants The discounts cards for two restaurants Prompt service Front desk staff:excellent service, very approachable
Complimentary Breakfast was poorly manned. Kitchen staff unfriendly (probably too much for one person to handle) Food was not supplied up to 10 am (everything was completely depleted by 9:25 and families were still coming in) Kitchen requires at least one more staff to keep an eye on coffee/clean dishes/food supply replenishing food/coffee/clean dishes Couldn't find hot water for preparing packaged oatmeal Carpeting needs replacing/stale odour Beds were lumpy
swimming pool and location
all around a nice place to stay
The room was a nice size Had a fridge which we needed Air conditioning worked Bed were very comfortable, I slept like a baby.
Dog charge. Our dogs are quiet, well behaved however the kids that were running up and down the hallway, were not. Would have like a little more selection for breakfast. Boiled eggs would have been nice.
The twirly slide in the pool area. Kids loved it!
Kitchen staff wasn't around when the room was full. No plates utensils or bowls were available. I told someone at front desk then someone came.
Security, clean and hospitality of front desk
The complimentary breakfast was nice.
Bathroom tub/shower was not clean. Vanity had water marks along with the floor. When I realized this it was 9:00 at night. I called the front desk to ask for someone to come clean or to bring me cleaners. The front desk clerk was on by herself and could not help me. She was sorry. When I checked out nothing was said. I will not stay again.
location front desk staff and cleaning staff-service oriented and friendly; everyone said hello when you met them in the hall or on the elevator For the guests- iced fruit water on reception desk; the weather was hot while we were in Calgary!! breakfast room was bright, clean and cozy There was enough variety of foods for breakfast; I like being able to have breakfast at the hotel and I like the self-serve aspect; it is a relaxing way to start the day cleanliness courtyard with beautiful flower pots yard was landscaped lots of parking and some trees for shade; parking lot was clean in in excellent condition computer and internet connection and printer swimming pool In the room, I was glad that we did not have a big heavy comforter on the bed; I am always concerned about how often those big comforters are washed (or not).
some carpets and furniture are looking old, tired, maybe dirty?? At the back entrance, the inside stairs looked run down. In one of the elevators, the emergency call box kept popping open; it did not look nice.
Just a little "tired". Carpets need replacing, toilet didn't work and the tank smelled bad. Fine for one night, but some updating is needed!
Phone call To ask if the room was ok and if we needed anything just ask
Nothing springs to mind
Very friendly staff. Reasonably comfortable room. Acceptable restaurants nearby.
Awkward location. Hard to find. Expensive for what you get.
