I loved this hotel in fact so much so that I cancelled an alternate hotel for my return trip to stay here again. It has a great atmosphere, the staff could not be more helpful and I would single out Zaeem in particular here who managed to run the front desk with maximum efficiency, whilst still being able to deal with any particular request or question you had and it was all in a days work for him and you genuinely felt that nothing was to much trouble for him. I was also really impressed with the size of the rooms, the cleanliness and comfort and quality of the beds and linen. Free safe, microwave and fridge in your room, great tv and coffee/tea making facilites, good breakfast included and in a great location right in the heart of Chinatown and downtown Toronto. Also free internet access.

Lovely hotel situated in china town, easy walk to Down town or catch a street car stops outside. help yourself breakfast. Spacious rooms with 2 queen beds. There are 2 lifts which take you to the hotel which is situated above a Chinese shopping mall. I would book there again and would recommend it. free WI fi Parking charges, there is a special parking lot for the hotel and cost $10 a day. Non hotel patrons are charged $16.

Nice big room. Close to Queen street. 1. I did not see an iron and ironing board in the room-that would have been convenient. 2. The elevator is just too slow, it needs to be speeded up.

Great price, four 20-year olds in the room and we were comfortable. Free breakfast, clean, staff were great when we had questions for them. I lost the key for my lock on my suitcase and they were very happy to assist.

Very comfortable, staff were helpful and nice Perfect location especially taking the ttc which is right infront of the hotel This trip's timing was good Get to see the chinese lion dance which one of your great staff told us to watch for, which we would have missed it Finally it was nice that your staff let us put the 2 luggages in their care after our check out cause we have 4 hrs to 'kill' now that's a plus Will recommend friends/ relatives to stay there anytime " I will be back". Haha Once again we enjoyed the stay Will give it an 8+ out of 10 Our Chinese lucky 8 Haha

There was nothing I liked about the hotel. I went to crawl into bed and saw that there were hairs, makeup and dirty marks on the sheets. I changed rooms. The second room had clean sheets but the bed spread and skirt looked like it had not been washed for a year. There were hairs in the tub. On the bath mat there was a large clump of black hair sitting on it. And this was the 2nd room I moved to!! They need to hire proper housekeepers that do their job. It was not worth the money I spent. And would clearly never go back and would love a refund!!

We booked the king suite and it was a good size. Location of the hotel was good in terms of where in the city it was located. The hotel was located in an incredibly awkward spot of the building it was attached to though... Hard to see where the hotel is from the street. From the Super 8 parking garage you have to either wait 10 minutes for an extremely slow elevator, or take the stairs (as I was recommended to do by the parking garage attendant). I opted for the stairs, not realizing I'd have to lug my bags up 4 sets of not-working escalators, through a crammed Chinese mall. When I finally reached the hotel, I had to trek through hallways before getting to the lobby. The lobby nor my room were nearly as nice as the pictures online made it look. The trip to our room was like a giant maze, with hallways taking constant turns... it was hard to not get lost!

This hotel is severely under staff. Security is definitely a problem because there is no access control for people from underground parking and connecting shopping mall to sneak into hotel floors. There are only a few cctv monitor cameras installed and there is not an adequate hotel security staff team. During my stay my car was vandalized by homeless people hiding at underground parking for warmness due to winter weather. I made comment to one of their front desk manager "Yamasaki" (name may be wrong but there is only one manager with name start with y) saying considering their room quality and facilities in compare to Holidays Inn Express, their rate are actually higher. The only reply I got from this front desk manager was "Why don't you go stay with Holidays Inn Express instead?".

***This is a friendly warning comment to all visitors wanting to stay at this hotel. *** There is nothing that I like about this hotel. There is no window at most of their rooms. This hotel was modified from a previous restaurant. Hotel room floors are directly connected to a shopping mall and parking lot underneath. Anyone may sneak into this hotel guest floor for whatever activities and there is probably only one security staff for the entire hotel. I have also checked that there are very few cctv monitor cameras and the central security monitor station which is at he front desk with manager (only one person working at night). Toronto China town is a nice and safe place to visit. However because it is loacted downtown, I have found and seen homeless people sneaked into hotel parking lot for warmness during winter. They also hide and sleep underneath cars. This hotel is severely under staff. Security is definitely a problem because there is no access control for people from underground parking and connecting shopping mall to sneak into hotel floors. Our Kids enjoy the chinatown mall in the same building, It was a short walk to the rogers center (where we need to go) The room were nice and clean, was a little disapointed with the breakfast in the morning not alot there for choice and health food. Great for kids not for parents.
