Close to downtown venues, clean, mall on ground floor, pleasant stay.
Clean, nice free breakfast. Be prepared for Chinese dining experience within few blocks.
No drive up front lobby. Park first in attached mall. Not bad, just need to know ahead of time.
Wife was too slow
Comfort of the bed.
The staff at the front desk.
Great value for money, great location, spacious room, includes microwave, lobby always has free coffee available, internet works great.
Front desk, while not rude, were kind of stand-offish. Walls in the room were very banged up with gouges in the drywall all around. Looked kind of like it had been gutted for some refurbishment and they just weren't careful. Didn't really affect my stay but if aesthetics are a problem for someone, that would be the only complain.
Staff rude and Kurt. We put do not disturb sign and maid used her key and walked in. Next day maid called and said do you need housekeeping we said no we were fine maid used her key 15 mins later. Place is a joke
Everything but especially housekeeping we stayed a wk and the maid walked in constantly.
location Location Location the spa is a wonderful place to go visit to.
Very large room, friendly staff, great service and comfortable bed.
only one outlet can work find a body of bed bug behind the bed no free bottle of spring water It was said breakfast included, but there were no restaurant, only a kitchen in the lobby. There were only cheap bread, and you have to cook using your own food! There were only cheap bread. What a poor hotel!
house keeping staff and the restaurant staff - always friendly and helpful
receptionist was the worst- totally did not want to do his job until i asked for a manager , after that problem was solved on a spot we also had safety deposit box not working had to call reception twice before they finally helped us.
Price, location, cleanliness
Window overlooked shopping mall and not outside
Room was roomy and clean. Microwave, frig, and eating area very helpful. Very convenient location.
Nothing stands out though it could be cleaner outside the hotel. Also a bit of a concern the shopping mall customers can freely access the hotel.
Breakfast should have been extended. New Years Day Everyone was up late and many people also missed breakfast which went to 10am.
The room is fine and clean. It is a quiet and comfort place. The location is close to most of attractions we visited.
The breakfast can be a little better.
Easy to find and staff is friendlying. Easy to get to public transportation. Very quiet. No noisy neighbour. I would go back again as long as I got the rate I got through 3rd party booking.
The housekeeping was not great. Just little things like replenishing coffee tea supplies. Had to ask them to vacuum room. Wiping counters. Wasnt awful but could have been better. Breakfast offered was all carbs except apples and oranges. Maybe should offer yogurt as an alternative.
Great price for the location. Right on the tram stop.
I was cold in the room. The heater on full speed would blow cold air. It took me a while to understand how to set it. I couldn't sleep from the cold.
I stayed at the Chinatown Super 8 for three weeks in December. All in all, it offers the best value for a downtown moderately priced hotel if you get the $87/night booking for a Queen bed. The staff are efficient though a bit terse, the rooms are clean and comfortable (though be careful they don't put you in one of the non-standard rooms...), the hotel quiet except for Friday and Saturday nights (just ask them to move you), and the breakfast room is clean and well maintained. For location, comfort, and price point, it is hard to beat its value.
Friendly and professional desk staff, and quality and value.
Parking costs too high, particularly with in-out privileges.
Everyone was very helpful and pleasant
I enjoyed the location and being about Chinatown it was wonderful!! Breakfast was delicious and very filling!! The price couldn't be beat!!! Wonderful!!
I got a good deal while booking the hotel that too in the peak season.
House keeping did not changed the sheets every day. Break fast not so impressive and the waitress was not very friendly
Shower curtains not serving purpose
very pleasant staff great breakfast
Location perfect Bed was huge and comfortable Plenty of pillows and blankets Free tea and coffee 24/7 Staff excellent Great having wifi but you had to log in each time you used it.
Having wifi was great but the signal kept dropping and you had to keep logging in every time you used it. That's my only complaint.
IN THE CENTRE, CLOSE TO METRO AND STREETCARS, EASY TO COME FROM AIRPORT.SECURE.
I DID NOT LIKE THEIR BREAKFAST.THERE WERE NOT MANY DIFFERENT FOOD.
