Location, Comfort of room,
Cleanliness wasn't up to standard, A simple request of more pillows was met with"can't do that"
We arrived past midnight, we yet still had no problems getting in. Friendly and accessible staff. Delicious waffles we made from their waffle machine in their small communal kitchen area- fun. Easily back on the road to our destination the next morning.
It was cheap
The place is a dump
basic needs met for our purpose. no frills parking lot well lite and safe
the front desk staff on check in not helpful and rude. rest of staff much nicer. breakfast needed more selection like fruit and hard boiled eggs
Noise from our bathroom plumbing all night and not having staff try and fis the problem for the second day.
It wasn't busy, staff were polite and made attempts to fix any issues.
The pool was small, room smelt like cigarettes, broken facet, tv didn't work.
The chamber maid was amazing. Was down for a wedding and she made the room so we could take pictures in the room before continuing her other rooms. Was changed to another room immediately when air conditioner leaked.
- Night clerk was rude, accusing me of breaking a lamp that I brought to front desk to replace. - Was also told by night staff to 'dress appropriately' when going to front desk. yet, the swimming pool is right across from the front desk, I was wearing short pants, how appropriate you want me to be? The air conditioner in second room wasn't working, Because of his comment, I just went to my room and didn't continue conversation. - Air conditioner leaked and wet floor - Pole in bathroom was broken - Too many things in room - Not enough outlets to plug things - Small washroom - Air conditioning close to beds.
Rooms were relatively clean
Building was in definite need of updating
The room was very clean and the bed was quite comfortable. I was at the back of the hotel, so it was relatively quiet all night. Although not a flat screen TV, the unit worked well and there was a good selection of channels available. The room amenities were excellent...fridge, microwave, iron, ironing board, hair dryer and phone directory.
I would have appreciated more cream and sugar for the coffee. Also, better parking lot lighting, since I was at the back of the hotel, and a single lady entering the stairwell alone at night.
It's a great and practical location, easy to access. The king size bed was really comfortable so that was good to have a good night of sleep before travelling again a long distance. There is a coffee machine, a microwave and a fridge in the room. Very useful.
The hotel looks dated. They seem to be in the process of painting the hallways. The hotel would gain to do some renovations inside the rooms as well.
When we complained of a noise problem the hotel staff was quick to respond.
The police coming at 4 AM to kick out the people in the room directly beside us. Yelling...shouting....doors slamming starting at 3 AM. Didn't get back to sleep until after 4.30 AM.
The staff were pleasant enough
The hotel is very dated and in much need of an overhaul. Only dingy stairs to get you to your room.
there is no window in the room, which is not match the website when I tried to book it
The cleaning of the room was not good and stuff was broken, Plus I had booked a room for a queen size but should have booked it for two doubles and they charge me another $10.00. to change I wasn't a happy person. I didn't think that was right. The bathroom was very tiny and there was only one towel in the spot and no hand towels for the sink to dry your hands off only one for the shower normaley there are two or three towels on the spot where the towels sit. I was not impressed with the person on the night shift. It took them a long time to come to the door so we could get in. I thought this was close to down town Toronto we had to drive 1/2 hour to get to our spot. My daughter said why are the rooms so small.
Price was good but I wouldn't have wanted to pay full price for it. Quiet. Free parking.
Lock on door was broke. Beds were uncomfortable. Too much furniture in small room made it difficult to move.
The bathrom floor tile where not clean. the pool was close. breakfast not as describe.
Our booking was not registered when we arrived The swimming pool was closed and it was our main criteria to choose that location
Breakfast provided not great. Went to another restaurant because of th epoor quality.
Heating was very noisey. Room took a long time to get heated. Parking lot was not very well maintained very icey.
location, friendly and accommodating staff
A very dated establishment that needs a bit of renovation urgently.
1. they couldn't find my reservation made by booking.com 2.dirty 3. I couldn't sleep, was too loud from my others rooms
Price Location Cheap parking
Crowded breakfast room
